In Love with the 3401 again

It would be nice to have a miniature Flex for tight spots. I purchased a Rupes15 and haven't been impressed with efficiency on removing defects. I purchased it for a back up. I have no confidence in the unit and already having cord issues. It definitely has a generic feel to it compared to a Flex.

there's no comparison in the QC of the flex to the rupes...
 
I think the quality of the the Rupes is quite high. Yes, the cord is not as good as the 3401 - agree there.

However, I haven't seen many threads entitled "My Rupes broke"... The machine has been "around" for a few years now, with what appears to be few failures.
