Hey all. I haven't been around too much now that school is getting intense. I'm closing in on graduation this fall, so I gotta keep my nose to the grindstone.

But, having said that, if you guys and gals could keep me and my family in your prayers, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've had to experience the loss of my first grandparent, and even worse for my dad, who's had to experience the loss of his father. I consider myself lucky that I made it almost through college before losing a grandparent, as most of my friends had lost one during high school. It was time coming, and I tried to prepare myself for that, but it still hits you like a ton of bricks when you hear those three words from the doctor "We lost him..."

So it's a rough and tough time in my family right now, so keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks
Kyle

For what it's worth, you're now on the prayer chain at my church. I was in school for so long I almost forgot my own name. Stick to it. Never quit.

I'll say a special prayer for you and your entire family.

My condolences to you and your family Kyle...

Sorry to hear about your loss. Best way to honor your grandfather would be to pour your heart and soul into this last stretch of school you have. Best of luck

Stay strong buddy. From personal experience its alway best to talk it out with your family. Saves you from some pretty rough nights.

Sorry for your loss and just did a prayer for you and your family... God Bless you...

Kyle, you and your family have our sincerest condolences. Trust that your grandpa is in a comfortable and welcome home with God. He will be watching over you always.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers sent.

Hang in there and as someone suggested, talk about it with anyone who will listen as the emotional weight of it will be much less if you let it out.

sorry for your loss Kyle........Prayers sent.

Thank you everyone. It's been a rough week, but there was a calmness to everything that told me that the good Lord was taking care of things. Services were great, as it's the first time in years that I could look at him and not see him in any pain. That alone was a blessing.
