Incredibly Cheap Finds

Want to Advance Auto to see what was on clearance. They had Griot's One Step Sealant unmarked. Guy at the counter told it was 2 bucks off, no thanks. Did find this though and got one:

I also got the Dub Wheel Cleaner and Car Shampoo for $10.00.

I pretty much hit the mother load at a couple different Mal Warts the other day...

$5.00 Turtle Wax Black Tire Coating Kit (got 3)
$1.50 Turtle Wax Rinseless Wash (got 4)
$7.00 Meguiar's Dynacone Polishing Kit (got 2)
$2.00 Meguiar's DA Power Pack-Waxing (got 6)
$2.00 Meguiar's White & Black Wax (got 2 each)
$1.50 Meguiar's Metal Polish Medium & Heavy (got 2 each)
$3.00 Meguiar's Leather Sealer Kit (got only 1 they had)
$2.00 Meguiar's Wash & Wax Anywhere (got all 6)

Grand total for both stops was around $85 and some change. I talked to the manager of the Tire & Lube at one of the stores, and he told me that their department does an overhaul starting around March 15th. He said all of the stores do it at the same time. He said they do the same thing again in mid October. He told me that throughout the year it is at the manager's discretion as to what gets marked down or put on clearance depending on how much a product sales, but he reminded me again that the biggest mark down times are mid March & October.
 
Wow, that is a good find a Wally World. Were they in the normal auto section, or in a special clearance area?

Those are such sweet prices!!! I don't get to see much clearance stuff in our local walmarts here. Those prices are jaw dropping. I'd buy everything too!
 
Any one know where I can get a GOOD spray bottle for my GG Spray Shine? Preferably at a local store such as HD, Lowes, Ace, Northern, Sears, etc.

A number of folks like the Autozone-branded spray bottles.

I recently tried out Home Depot's 32oz HDX spray bottes (about $1.75/piece) and I really like them--can't speak for long-term durability yet though.

Gallon of Speed Shine - $8.65 as reported, except...

I did score a gallon of Speed Shine for $0.05 at the second AA I stopped at...both the clerk and I were surprised, but he sold it to me regardless. :dblthumb2:

I think that it differs store to store. In one of the stores they had some shelves setup by where you pay at in the Tire and Lube entrance / exit. Its where they have the batteries, jumper cables, etc., and thats where it was. In the 2nd one the items were in a clearance section that was marked by yellow balloons.

I am going to try and hit a few more AAP's in the next few days. I went in one this evening, and got a couple good deals on GG stuff. Got the 22oz Wheel Cleaner for $3, GG clay in jar for $5, GG Foaming Glass Cleaner $3, and GG Leather Cleaner / Conditioner for $3. They had some other things like RavenHawk stated as well. I have been wanting to try those GG Green Microfiber's, but the were full price here.
