Incredibly Cheap Finds

Sonax Products are very cheap where I live (United Arab Emirates), some products are available OTC like shampoo, glass cleaner, spray wax, wheel cleaner, interior cleaner and the likes.. Other products are available at the authorized dealer stores, Examples:

Wheel Cleaner Full Effect (500ml)= $9
Fallout Cleaner (500ml)= $12
Polymer Net Shield (210ml)= $7
Brilliant Shine Detailer (750ml)= $9

You live in the United Arab Emirates??? OMG.. I thought you were posting from like North Jersey.

Internet is crazy.

I know this has been mentioned before, but I got a bunch of the GG stuff from Advanced Auto for $.05 a piece. Thanks for the heads up.

The other day, visited my local Dollar Tree to see what they had in stock, and they had the LA's Totally Awesome Orange All Purpose Degreaser in 1/2 gal refill Jugs for $1. Bought 4, and 4 more qts of the Yellow APC Concentrate.

Works great around the house, and on the car tires, under hood, etc. Like these prices a whole lot better than other stuff like Simple Green.

What did you get? Often times they're regional, sometimes they're nationwide. I know for example a friend of mine found a gallon of interior cleaner a week or two ago for the nickel price that had been nationwide a year or two ago. It just sat there on the shelf on $.05 price for 12-24 months.

I got 3 of the Wash Pads for 2.75ea, 2 of the blue detail sponges @ $.05ea, 2 bottles of car wash @ $.05ea, 1 bottle of rubber and plastic treatment @ $.05. Sadly this was all they had at those prices. Immediately drove to the other location in my town, but to no avail. Also, sadly they had no gallon sizes and very limited stock of the smaller sizes. Can't complain though walked out having spent like 9 bucks total. People that worked there had no idea they were that price. Had them price check every GG product they had.

Awesome. I know of two stores that have the soap and the blue sponges.

Sears and k mart have these for $7. I like to keep brushes, vacuum attachments, polisher pads, my polisher etc in them.

Also they have a pressure washer for $67

Did you ever get the Craftsman Pressure Washer with the steamer? I thought you had ordered one. If so, how did it work?

They cancelled my order after a week. It was supposedly at my local store but it wasn't there when I got there. Sears customer service took about a week to realize that they didn't have any left and cancelled my order. Offered me a $5 off 25 coupon. Gee thanks.

I was at the Ollie's on saturday & found A 3 pack Meguiars microfiber towels for 4.99. They also had there cone shape foam polishing kit for 9.99

Took a trek to my local Wal-Mart (an establishment that I do NOT frequent) to grab a couple jugs of oil.

Took a walk over to the 'wax' area...had Meguiar's Christmas bucket kits on sale for...$20.88! Hmmm, three months after the holidays and they still have 4 left from (if I remember right) starting point of 6 buckets.

Gee, I wonder why?

Bill

I picked up 6 pack chemical guys MF (gold w/black band) towels 16x24 70/30 for $14.77 on amazon.

There really fluffy

got all 3 of these for $10 and some change. I just wanted the 4" buffing pad. I use the RW on my wheels and it works great

Harbor bomber freight has some 5.5 foam polishing pads for 4.99..... I bought a bunch and they are actually top notch pads

AS stated,, BE CAREFUILL! my orange ones blew apart while doing a bike tank and almost sctached the heck out of it!~

the blue and black ones seem to hold up better, but also as noted speeds down and light psi. I used the blue to clean the tile in my bathroom shower with soft scrub. works good.

Went to oreillys today and they had a deal buy one mothers trim cleaner get a free back to black trim dressing.

I think you will like the B2B Trim Cleaner

The B2B Trim Dressing...not so sure. I heard it is a new formula. The old stuff was poorly thought of on the Forum. Let us know.

What a deal. I have a friend who purchased 5 Turtle Wax Rinse Free bottles but took them all back to Advance. I would go purchase them but since the bottles are not sealed I don't think it's a good idea.

Where did you get this deal? I'd love to pick up some of the Meg's pads. Thanks.

I finally figured out Ollie's is the actual name of a chain. I keep going to O'Reilly and wondering why I don't see the same deals. Thought Ollie's was an abbreviation, like Meg's.

I love those towels! I bought some for polish removal, but they are way too thick for that, so I use them for quick detail mostly.
Is that cheaper than usual? I don't remember what I paid for them.

The AAP by me also had Meg's Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere Spray on clearance. I picked up a couple bottles, and it worked really well, surprisingly well actually.

Something weird though: afterwards I tried to go over it with a coat of Optimum Car Wax, and it streaked really bad. The hood is still streaked because I haven't had time to fix it. Maybe I just needed to let the Meg's sit longer first.

I see a lot of that. Sometimes the bottle looks like it's been squeezed. I just take the cap off and check. Often the clearance price is low enough that I don't care if some of it is gone.

Advanced Auto has Mothers clay kits marked down to $15.00.

Those any good?
