Incredibly Cheap Finds

Just picked up 3 aquapel for $2.17 each at O reillys and a Mother's Back to Black for 2 something total price for all was $8.97. I bought all they had left.

Great find!!! About a month ago I posted when I found the Aquapel at O'Reilys, and it was $2.17 then. Great price on that stuff, and it works great.:dblthumb2:
 
A couple of finds. I actually had some of the cheap blue watered down windshield washer fluid in my hands while traveling to the clearance rack at oreillys when I saw they had some for 47 cents so grabbed 2. The Mothers back to black rang out at $1.87 as well as the eagle 1 nano wax and wash. The turtle wax rfww rang out around 3 bucks at advanced auto parts. and those 2 sponges were about 1.25... not a bad week. The turtle wax rfww will be used as clay lube mostly. Thanks to all the original posters for the tips.

That craftsman all rubber garden hose is back at sears. $18 this time. 10% better than last time. 50'
 
Stopped by harbor freight and picked up this stuff today (I love that store and it's close to home)

8" orange pad $5 (only for use with MF bonnet)
MF bonnet $3
6" polish pad $5
25w halogen rechargeable light separate DC and AC cords $12

for those who picked up the mothers back to black, is it a runny product? i bought one today when i was out of town at oreilly's ($1.87) and upon shaking it, it sounds watery inside the bottle...

Keep your receipt. I bought that light and it kind of sucked. The battery life degrades pretty quick, and it doesn't get as bright as it did when I bought it. These things were noticeable within the return period, but I lost the receipt.
 
I bought the 3 year $5 free replacement. Filled out info and don't need the receipt (I asked because I never keep up with them)

Went shopping tonight and made a lot of purchases...

Walmart has a wash and wax 1.89L bottle for 3$. I am eager to try this, the price is super low, this could be good for basic washes.

Walmart also has a window coating (just like Rain-X) for 3$ per bottle (about same size as Rain-X bottle too).

Canadian Tire has an insane sale on Air Tools.

I purchased a 5.1 CFM@40 PSI compressor with 5 gallon tank for 119$ (regular price is around 270$)

Got a paint gun kit (2 guns with 36 accessories) for 79$
Got an 1/2 inch impact gun for 60$
Got a DA Sander for 52$

All the Tools are mastercraft brand if memory serves.

Ok that's that for now ;)

If the Walmart soap at $3 is the same one I'm thinking of, I would never buy it again. The one I tried was terrible. They might as well have filled the bottle with water + food coloring. It did nothing. I can't remember the exact brand.

I will try it this week and let you know. The brand is Tune it! It's their own brand I think.
 
O'Reillys is blowing out eagle 1 products with old packaging (I guess they have new black packaging) I pick up nanowax and wash 64oz for 1.87 (posted a pic like a page back) also picked up mag, aluminum, and chrome wheel cleaner and tire shine bottles all for 1.87 each. Thanks for the tip, I ran by my local store and picked up some Nano spray wax for $1.87, it was all they had and some Mothers FX spray wax for $2.37
 
The duragloss 503 price went back up to over $40.
Big lots has a ton of CD2 engine detailer for $4. This stuff any good? I know they don't make it anymore.

Glad I got my order in then !!!!! $4 is a good price for CD2. I would grab a few cans :dblthumb2:
 
I've been looking everywhere for Turtle Wax Rinseless Wash and Wax with no luck. I heard some places had it real cheap on closeout but I can't find any - period. Finally found it today at WalMart for $5.87, so you might look there if your auto supply stores are out. Six bucks is not too bad a price for a decent rinseless and even a better bargain if you pour a bottle of it in a gallon of distilled water to make a good QD.

I think (others do too, some don't) that roughly 3:1 (33:95) is too much. You can get away with half that bottle or less in a gallon dilution ratio. My recommendation would be to mix up some 4 ounce versions and try them out before committing to dumping a whole bottle into a qd.
