Meguiar's supreme shine microfiber towels.
20 pack for $19. Nice size.

How do these compare to the Costco towels? Are they as cheap or better quality? I've never seen these in person.

I stock and use both, so here's my 2 cents worth.
Meg's towels, IMO, are an extremely good value at a buck apiece in bulk. They're certainly not thick or heavy, but the weave is very dense and they're very soft. I have no fear of using them for any operation involving polish or wax removal. Costco's are a coarser weave and not as soft, so they'll never see paint beyond the compounding step. I reserve them for utility use and rinseless washes.
Neither, again IMO, are towels I would trust for waterless washes. My favorite bang-for-the-buck towels for WW and QD use are AG's rolled edge towels.

i have to say these megs bug splatter sponges aren't bad, especially for the price on clearance at o'reillys. the nice thing is after you're done with it, rinse it off and let it dry and then use it to apply trim dressing and then toss it. at least you get another use out of it...

Another O'Rileys stop. Eagle1 A2Z wheel and tire cleaner, and Eagle1 All wheel and tire (the stuff in the green bottle) both on clearance for 77cents. I bought all they had of each.

3 Gallons of LATA for $12

I have to say I just picked up a bottle of this and I have to say wow, I'm actually speechless. I tried 3 times to clean a tire with old dressing and brown staining to no avail with simple green. I sprayed this LA stuff on and literally the brown started running off, I couldn't believe it. One quick scrub around with a brush and rinsed, the tire was like new. It actually worries me what is in it because it worked so well, but their website says it is non toxic and biodegradable so???? I haven't done it on my high dollar clear coated rims yet though  anyone know how safe it is or isn't? I've never seen an APC do what this did, I mean it kicked the #%|{}.< out of simple green which is a strong cleaner! oh and I diluted it 1:1

Probably not very safe. I would look up the MSDS. It does work very well though. If you like that you'll like zep fast 505 on tires as well. Even on very dirty tires it only takes one application to get them clean enough that when you wipe your finger across the tire no dirt comes off.
