Incredibly Cheap Finds

Go you your local dollar store and pickup a jug of LA's Totally Awesome. $3 and you can dilute it 5:1 to use as an APC. Cleans engines and bugs with "Awesome" results. It also cleans our wood floors very nicely.

It's my go-to APC for just about everything.

I have used this stuff to clean the vinyl siding on my house, cleaned the wheels and tires on several vehicles. I have a little Honda Del Sol that I drive back and forth to work 70 miles each way that needs a little cleaning under the hood. Been meaning to use this on it the little honda. 193000 miles and still going.

This post just reminded me of a rather amusing thread that I read a few years ago. I had to go find it.

Just ordered those yellow foam applicators from ebay. Too good a deal to pass up!

Went to Dollar Tree yesterday they have
-32 oz Car wash Shampoo (I forgot the brand)
-Street Appeal Professional Tire Shine Spray, 16-oz. Bottles
-Street Appeal Professional Protectant, 8 oz.

I was to scared to try any of them although I almost bought the car wash shampoo. I might get it today for kicks and giggles. If so I will post a pic of it.

BUMP just in case anyone missed this - the Sam's Club microfibers don't lint, they are extremely soft, and very plush after the first wash. After years using them for a multitude of purposed, they just blow me away...

FOR LESS THAN 50 CENTS EACH!!!!!!!

You can even buy 4 different colors, and keep interior separate from paint, and wheels separate from glass! WOW.

They really are a great deal.

picked this up today.....clearance sticker shows $5.00........rung up at register for $1.00!

I've been using these for a couple of years and they work great for tire dressing applicators! One sponge will last for several vehicles. Shoot I bought the Eagle brand before I found these and paid much more. After two uses the Eagles started coming apart.

This is really a no-brainer in my mind when it comes to tire dressing applicators and especially for the money!

I did not have the guts to buy it and try it out. Who know what the PH is or how harsh it could be. It is by the same brand that makes the cheap oil and auto fluids for sale at Dollar Tree.

BTW they also had a "Steet Appeal" big bottle of wheel cleaner too.

Walmart has amazing 32 oz sprayer bottles with good trigger spray for only .98 cents! Also, they have blank non branded wash buckets that are for paint for only $2.50.
