Just after Christmas, my local HD had two of those stools. Open box/returns. One had a rip in the side of the leather and they wanted 20 each. I asked if they would take less for the dirty one and she said she would give me that one and a new one for $25, and I asked if she would just sell it to me for $5. She agreed. I fixed the rip on the side and cleaned it up and it's good to go.

I honestly wanted to make a bucket dolly out of it. I thought it would be pretty cool if you could have a rising/lowering bucket. It would undoubtedly tip over, so I'm just using it to polish side panels.

Cody, the cart at HF seems to be a YMMV type deal. They must have been closing out that cart since it had a dent. I use these so much, and was pumped. Went to the store today and they didn't have them for less than the $37.99... still a good price that you can get under 30 with 25% off coupon.

I did find these towels at HD today. 20 microfiber towels for under $2!!! well, not quite. They're disposable but I'll use for exhaust, glass, engines, sticky interiors, etc. Got a few packs. While I was there I did find the $9 supply bag on the top of the shelf. Look for the UPC number and you'll likely find it. I grabbed two of them and they're pretty nice. Huge inside and definitely holds the 32oz bottles.

Since I'm writing a novel, I will also mention that I found another Big Lots near me that I hadn't known about. I did find the items that others have seen, the Clay Magic purple clay, the Aquapel, and a LGM. They were the same prices that others have reported, Clay: $5, Aquapel: $5, LGM: 50.

The reason I'm mentioning them is the first two were half off. They're doing a clearance event and anything with a red star is half off. So 2 for 5 for the aquapel and clay. I also got a Megs Gold Class ultra plush wash mop bonnet for $1. There was also a cheapy air compressor, 2.8 gallons I think, for $69 and it was half off. They also had some wiper blades for $5, half off. Worked well for me.

I had an idea for something like this. My driveway is gravel so the small casters won't work. I plan on getting the cheap radio flyer knockoff from HF and rolling that thing around with my buckets and room for a couple tools. I'll probably modify it a bit so the buckets don't move around. I know that doesn't raise and lower like you want, but it would still be nice.

Awesome! I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll be breaking in the 14-inch bag today. I loaded it up last night so it's ready to go when I get home. Gotta get it done while the sun's still roasting at 40 degrees today. :)

I have seen people mention Big Lots on occasion and I keep forgetting to check it out. There's one right by me so I'll go this weekend, thanks for the reminder!

Ps. I hope you don't mind, I chopped up your novel a bit :props:

Tool box. $5 It's only 14 inches, but I'm fairly certain it will fit a buffer. If not, it should hold your interior brushes and vacuum tools. No idea why, but I actually had 5000 SYWR points so it was literally free. On my way to get it now.

Scratch that. Not big enough for my PCXP or HF DA. Great for my brushes though.

I have found that the plastic/abs Stanley tool boxes and carts are really a great deal. tough and not very expensive and few sizes to choose from and most the big ones have a smaller utility box inside.

and I have a larger carry box. total cost about 30 bucks or so +/-

Northern Tool has the Meguiar's DA Power System for $19.99.
Must be a local sale. Nothing online about it. Don't even list it.... hhhmmmm..... maybe I can make the 2 mile trek to my local store :)

Those things are great for a number of uses... Just don't try to load it up with a bunch of heavy tools or gallons of product. It's a light-duty item, but, doesn't an excellent job of storing/hauling some cleaning products (a few) brushes, towels, even a DA machine!!

Just went to local northern tool and they didn't have a sign up but they are in fact $20. Great for tight spots I just wish they would come with a compounding pad instead

Also a big bottle of f21 protectant.. For engines 2.00$

Not using expensive spray for people who aren't paying for engine detail.. I'll just apc it and spray that lol.

was just at big lots and they had a clearance in the tool section (ymmv) and they had a plain medium size red/black zip up tool bag (no logo or embroidery on it) with shoulder straps and it had no price tag on it or anymore left. took it up front and the girl gave it to me for $5 and when i got home to check to see if a PC would fit inside, it was a perfect fit with a little room to put some pads inside as well. never hurts to ask if something doesn't have a price on it...
