Incredibly Cheap Finds

They have those gorilla work platforms on sale at my local HD. Not as good as the 19.99 black friday price, but still a good deal for 29 bucks. They had tons in stock.

They're probably my most used tool in my garage. I use them for everything. I had to trim some trees this weekend and they were perfect. Much better than a stool/ladder.. you don't have to get off to take a step in either direction.

Get a pair, you won't regret it. Invaluable for polishing/washing/claying/waxing/ANYTHING to the roof of a car or hood of a large truck.

here's a smaller platform that may be easier to lug around if you're mobile and don't forget to use a coupon for additional savings (in car mags, etc,). also, you can go to your local skateboard shop and put some griptape on top if desired...

I know what I'm doing tomorrow!

Thank you so much. I've almost face planted several times when reaching to the middle of the roof of a car with the gorilla one.

You're awesome.

Those things are great for a number of uses... Just don't try to load it up with a bunch of heavy tools or gallons of product. It's a light-duty item, but, doesn't an excellent job of storing/hauling some cleaning products (a few) brushes, towels, even a DA machine!!

I have one of these, I use it for all my electronics/computer tools, extra wire and cables, stuff like that. Works great!

be careful with those. they felt soft, so I checked the tag, 100% polyester

Found the Stanley 732 lumen spotlight and the led headlamp combo at Wally-World this evening for $7 on clearance. Great deal to complement my Brinkmann.

Just got back from advance auto, had to get some oil for a quick change.

Stoners reach window cleaning tool, $5.95

Meg's motorcycle plastic cleaner and polish was $0.65 for a small bottle, 6 or 8 ounces I think. Opened and did a test between it and plast x and it looked, smelled, and performed almost identical on a lexan bucket I have.

FYI, the other advance I frequent has that stoners tool for $9.65 so ymmv

I got that window tool at the end of the season (unfortunately I paid full price) and man is it worth it. I just used it for the first time today. Made cleaning my rear window way less torturous. :xyxthumbs:

Came across a couple of great bargains while browsing Wally world's site. The first one I posted earlier but it bears repeating here...
It's called the Meg's Ultimate Results Bundle for only $65.00.
That thread is here. and the direct link to the product is here.

The other kick-butt deal is this assortment of mf towels made by Zwipes. They come in a 24 pk for about $11.00, a 36 pk. for about $21.00 or a 48 pk. for only a dollar more! Haven't checked them out personally but from the description that Zwipes offers these might not be too shabby. Hell... for $.50 a piece, you could use them to wipe up the really nasty stuff and toss 'em and never give them a second thought!

+1! My daughter just bought a new Civic HF. I'm fairly certain I could not have cleaned the windshield interior side if it were not for that tool. I swear, without it, you'd have to literally somehow lay sideways on the dash to be able to reach the furthest, lowest portion of it! Even with the seat pulled all the way forward, the bottom of the windshield was still miles away it seemed. The Stoner's tool saved the day once again!

Unfortunately, I don't have a link. From what I've noticed, anytime something hits the clearance shelf/rack at an advance auto store, they have stopped carrying it. I've gotten 3m lens & hard plastic cleaner, lug nut brush, 3 pack of microfiber towels (absolute trash), microfiber scrubber, and a few other things from their clearance section for less than a buck each.

The Stoners tool I got was one price at one store, and a different price at another. Same with the TurtleWax Rinse Free, $4.55 at one store, $2.85 at another.

You'll have to check a few different stores, but I feel certain you should find one.

As a side note, they do sell one at one of the dollar trees that I've been to recently. I got it, but haven't tried it. Obviously it's a cheap imitation, and only comes with one bonnet, but it may be a bargain.
