Mothers California Gold 64oz Carnauba Wash & Wax (Two for $9) ($9 a gallon)

**** FREE 5 gallon bucket *****

I chose these products since I wash cars for dealers but there are more products to choose from at the store for the 2 for $9 deal, with free bucket

I saw this yesterday. They also have Meg's wheel cleaners 2 for $10.

Have you tried to fit a grit guard in the bucket yet?

I stopped in PepBoys to pickup some throttle body cleaner and the sale tags were already posted in the store for a sale that technically starts tomorrow. I bought 2 Mothers Back-to-Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner Kits for only $10 total.

Went to Northern tools today and found Meguiar's DA power system for $19.99. I have not heard of the results, but could not pass up the deal! retail it sells for $59.

There's one on eBay for $18.45 free shipping right now...

My Northern Tool is out...... I asked the clerk and she had no idea what I was talking about.... I'll check back another time as it's only about a mile from the house. I don't need it, but, for $19.99 it's a deal!!
I was a Wally World tonight and found absolutely nothing that was any sort of deal. Some of the prices were better than Pep Boys, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, etc but big deal...... nothing spectacular enough to buy. I thought I had found a great deal on some Meguiar's Professional Glaze #9, but, can get the same price at Amazon shipped and no sales tax.... didn't need it anyway but thought I'd check it out to see if I could get a deal. *sigh*

Is the Meguiars DA power system the attachment for a drill? Has anybody used it with good results?

Yes, and from what I have read people were impressed with them for what they are.

Sorry they did not have any by you. I stumbled on it by their limited care car stuff, but when I was checking out the clerk didn't even know they carried the stuff. But the Meguiar's Professional Glaze #9 was also on sale at my Northern Tools for $3.99.

Not detailing related but Home Depot has husky tools on clearance. Allen wrenches and combo wrenches. I picked up a set of combo wrenches with built in ratchet for 9 bucks, down from 25

Is the Meguiars DA power system the attachment for a drill? Has anybody used it with good results?

I've used this before and was pleased. I never tried to get full correction from it but when it first came out it helped me with bird etchings and paint transfer and things clay couldn't. I waxed with it but it's just too small. I have the HF and PC DA polishers but now I still use it for bumpers and things that need small pads. I did setup the HF one for use for the 3 inch backing plate but I swapped it out for the cyclo brush and use this for small, tight spots on the paint.

Long story short it's good for what it is and although you'll outgrow it, you'll still use it from time to time

i would just save up a little more money and get the HF DA...

I have one but never use it anymore. My results were ok but I was using a cordless drill so minimal results were expected. I still prefer swapping the backing plates and taking advantage of my G110 v2's power. Although it is nice to use occasionally as a cordless waxer if your arms are to tired to do it by hand.

definitely a regional thing, i stopped by my local pepboys and it scanned for $7.99 which still is a good price. the sales guy even double checked the circular to no avail. in anycase, i purchased it anyway as well as another bonnet brush which was only $1.90...

I would agree with you regularly, but it's almost a no brainer for this price. You can't get the backing plate and polishing pad for this and like I said, you can definitely find a use for it... as Matterhorn said, you can use it as a cordless device too. I have an old corded drill I keep it attached to that I use strictly for small places.

What is the cyclo brush? This sounds intriguing.

They're great for carpets, upholstery and tires!

Big Lots had a 20% off sales yesterday so I went to see if there were any bargains. I got (5) Goodyear Magic Erasers. Originally $5 then clearance 80% off plus an additional 20% off at the counter. Total came to $0.37 each. Pretty good price. I also got a cup style oil wrench for $0.50 - 20%. They had no decent waxes etc. all Amorall, Simonize, and off brand. No Meg's.

Oh ok, I don't have that machine, but I have a DA. Don't they make something like this for a DA that replaces the backing plate? I'm picturing yellow and black bristles.

I never thought about using it on the tires though. That would be great since I feel like they never get clean. No matter what, my drying towel comes back with black spots, which is why I keep a separate one for the tires.
