Incredibly Cheap Finds

NAPA has a sale going on where you buy a new NAPA bucket for 2.99 and everything you can fit in it is 20% off. I picked up some things today but I think this was a deal they have Collinite 845 for 14.29 and with 20% off I paid 11.44. I also got some Plastx and Blue magic headlamp cleaner and some tire dressing applicators. I don't know if this is all over the country. You check their website.

Is the new napa bucket nice?

Kidding. I will probably check it out though just because I want 50000th bucket. I'm a sucker for a bucket and a nozzle

Yeah or Neah? Smart & Final $1.35

That is just for the empty bottle. Make sure to read the fine print.....Spray top sold separately :awman:

Dude, life saver. Was about to buy 2 .

Oh u mean that back to black sucks? I put it on my neighbors car lol. She has an old Xterra. It was $2 bucks so if it sucks no biggie.

I got some of that at O'Reilly's last night. My trim is still new, but some day...

But no I was referring to the Turtle stuff (below). I just thought it was funny that their packaging says "We dare you to try it," and it's on clearance, so I guess not many people took them up on their challenge lol.

Just stopped by and saw they had one bottle of TW Rinse Free left. Got that baby for $2! Plus, they also have 3M's Wheel Restoration System #39052 on clearance for $14.90. Guy, hooked me up and made it $10 instead since I got the TW. Not to bad!

I guess it's me and/or my car but the back to black works great for me. It lasts a long time. I do wait about 20-30 minutes before i wipe it down with a clean MF towel (actually 1 per side) on my B pillars and the side view mirror housing. I do check every 5-8 minutes to be sure it isn't running down the pain because it really sucks if it gets on paint...... streaks and all sorts of nasty stuff that you wouldn't want.

Just be a little careful. Tape up areas around the B pillars where you don't want to get it on your class/and/or paint and you're good to go IMO.

I'll buy a bottle whenever I see it on sale for around 43. I don't have but a tad of this type finish that I would use it on my car, no bumpers, side guards, etc. etcv. so one bottle will easily last me 2 months and that's if I use it every couple of weeks. But as always, YMMV. It's one of my "super stars" :dblthumb2:

Great bottles, But suck after a while.
Great for weekend warriors sucks for constant use. The trigger part "comes" out of the top of the bottle. Not great for acid use.
Damn...... I was in Wally World for over two hours and saw nothing like that.
Did snatch up a couple bottles of Meguiars Interior Detailer. It's terrific for lite cleaning of car seats, arm rest, dash, top and front, arm rests, stuff like that.. I have something else I use in between, but, for $3 a bottle, it was a great deal.

If you haven't tried any of the cheap 3M stuff.......... you don't know what you're missing............ maybe not as good as the $200 stuff, but, 85 percent to 90 percent as good and you'll have a hell of a time telling the difference if you're not given a heads up. And it last at least 8 weeis depending on driving and storage conditions of course.

Stopped at my local Lowes yesterday, they still have meguires nxt tech wax for 7.49
That was just doesn't do it for my car....... I realize lots of folks like it, but, it just looks like I "almost" washed it when done.

What cheap 3m stuff are you talking about?

The nxt is great stuff. Adds depth and really darkens color. I don't understand what you mean about "almost washed" you do wash your car before you apply wax, right? How would the wax/sealant make your car look dirty again?

Not trying to be aggressive just want to know what you mean!

I, too, use b2b without many issues. Clean first, apply, buff, apply again, buff, hell maybe even apply again. It's no gummi pfledge but it works

3m makes good products. Hell, there are so many opinions its all preference n price is a huge factor. So when I see these clearance deals im not snobby. For those that r thank u n keep leaving the bad products for us weenies

From what I learned on here, NXT is about the same as 3M performance (which is my preferance, toped nowdays with SCG Coral Reef hand blended paste wax)

I was at Advance Auto parts today, they had a shelf that had products that were reduced, then reduced again.
Anyway I bought two 19oz cans of their brand glass cleaner, I used it before, works very well, no streaks, well today I only paid .70 cents per can, should have bought them out but have plenty of glass cleaner.

I have heard the 3m stuff is great, but cheap, not so much.
