Incredibly Cheap Finds

Never heard of this product before, didn't pick it up, was/is at Lowes. Anyone used it or heard about it? Doesn't seem like you could do a whole car with a can.

with these lesser known items i always wonder 'how bad can they be' if they don't do the job they claim is one thing but could they actually do more harm than good? I like trying out new products but not at the expense of doing damage to something. Buyer beware?

for a buck or two more, you can go to walmart and buy the TW rinse free wash & wax which has been proven to work well. also, walmart has them on clearance too...

Picked up a couple bottles of turtle wax rinse free wash from Walmart for $5 each. They're on clearance. Price is almost equivalent to ONR, since you need 4 times the product.

I saw this last week, one left at the store I was at ,, so I took it and went to the next store down the road and cleard the shelf. they had 5 left.

$6.29 here at the Chicago stores❄

Thanks for the reminder, Nick! Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of that.

Home Depot has these 18" x 18" Microfiber towels Qty: 18 for $9.95 .. These are nice towels for the daily driver. The towels are a little thin but still do a good job. I mainly use them for waterless wash and detail spray

I stopped at Advance Auto to see if the Griots products were on closeout and the gallons of Speed Shine were marked down to $16.95 each. I told the manager that last winter that I had bought some of the Spray Wax gallons for $7.95. He said he would cut these in half so i purchased them for $8.47 a gallon. The only problem is the products are old and one is green and one is blue. If you go to Advance, just ask to speak to the manager and they may cut the price in half for you also

Dang, was just in the Depo this afternoon. Saw some sponge 6 packs but wasn't sure if they were the ones talked about here. Would have grabbed some towels if I saw them.

picked up some Megs heavy cut metal polish for 7.00 and finishing polish for 4.00 on clearance.

The yellow is the sprAY wax and the green is Speed Shine👍

Are you saying that the bottle on the left is mislabled and is Spray Wax?

Its the exact same color as my GG Spray Wax and the GG Speed Shine has always been that light blue color. The only other thing I can think of is to call Griot's and ask them, I'm sure OB1 isn't going to say "that isn't the Speed Shine your looking for, move along, move along"

These are both Speed Shine. I work for Advance Auto Parts and I have seen first hand how the product changes color as it sits on the shelf and ages.

I've seen marring from these towels. I'm sorry, but why the hell are you using these with waterless washes??? Maybe, just maybe, they will work okay with rinseless washes...
By the way, the marring I have seen was with Mother's California Gold Showroom whatever. The detail spray that smells like cinnamon.
