Yes these towels are thin and I would not recommend using them on a nice car. The towels would also be great for wheels or wiping down interior. I have been using them for waterless washes on my work van and they do fine but if you have a nice car I would suggest a better towel. I have not seen any marring on my van but it is old

Yes it's just older and turned green but still smells fine and seems to work good

They both smell the same . The one on the left is an older product and has probably turned color with age

True. I don't think the product has gone bad. I have had one of my own Speed Shine spray bottles change to a greenish color being stored in my garage. It still smells fine and works very well also. I have just noticed it more with the gallon jugs in the stores as most customers don't purchase this much product. Hence it being clearanced out.

my local walmart not only had on clearance the mothers leather wash foaming cleaner for $3 like yours, but also the leather crème moisture rich conditioner for $7. how can you go wrong at $10 for both?! :props:
 
Stopped at my local Advance Auto last night to pick up the TW WOWA sealant and noticed DUB products on the clearance shelf, so I picked up the sprAY wax for $3.15👍

They als moved the Griot's products to a regular shelf, no more special end cap. Nothing was marked down from Griot's yet but I'm keeping my eyes open though.

Yeah I went to look myself all GG stuff have been moved, but I did get some 3M headlight buffer kits for $8, marked down from $32. It has all the sanding disk and a buffing pad, I picked up another 3M from the same store for $12 this one comes with the backing plate :) The money was worth the 3" sanding disks alone.
 
if you go to Advance and see any Gallons of Griots on the shelf try negotiating with the manager. These gallons have been sitting on the shelves for so long the managers may discount them under $10. They did at my store. I'm going to more stores over the weekend. I'm hoping to pay $7 to $8 a gallon, maybe less

You won't have to wait much longer. Advance bought Car Quest and all the Arizona locations are in the process of changing over the stores to the Advance name and layout. Unfortunately, this means that the only retailer in the state that carries Dura Gloss products will no longer have it on the shelves according to info I received via an email to corporate hq a couple of weeks ago. So, if you're a Dura Gloss fan, better buy up the remaining inventory while you can.
The benefit of this take over, obviously, is that we won't have to envy those who brag about all the great deals they get at Advance stores!
 
Advance Auto has Meg's DUB products on clearance! I just bought the last 2 DUB wheel cleaners, they were $5.00 a piece. I'm going to see who else has it and buy it up. At the regular price of $8.99 its 50% cheaper than Sonax, but when its 25% of the price, well, its a done deal for me!
 
I picked up my 2 bottles of DUB wheel cleaner and the manager said she could get me more so I'm going to order another 2 bottles online tonight and pick it up Monday. THIS would make 4 full bottles plus the full bottle I have it in which is the HD wheel cleaner from Griot's, love their sprAY bottles, the DUB one has a tendency to leak a bit.

If you guys are looking to stock up on wheel cleaner go online to Advance Auto parts and pick up the DUB wheel cleaner, it's $5.00 a bottle, a 22 ounce bottle at that. The regular price is $9.00 and that is about half what Sonax full effect is and it does the same thing. Like any product, it can only do so much so if the wheels are REAL BAD it can only do so much on its own until you need to use a brush.

Time to buy this stuff up guys because other DUB products are on the clearance table and it makes me wonder how much longer it's going to be around and that sucks because I really like this product at its regular price and on sale at almost half off is a no-brained!

I stocked up on the AG bogo Mothers FX wheel cleaner. Those were 24oz and at bogo price came out to $3.99 each and I got free shipping.
 
So after seeing some thing mentioned here on sale at Avance Auto I finally looked at the "flyer" on their site. Sale ends tomorrow, btw. Says it includes U1319(Tire Shine), U1648(Car Wash), and U1422(Wheel Cleaner). 2 for $10.

Picture in their flier shows Dub car wash and found another on Amazon.

Thought it was odd, never seen it anywhere else. Wonder if they have it in the store? Was hoping it was like a no-rinse, but from the description it seems like a colored Gold Class wash.

Meijer in Plainfield, IL has our favorite TW tire coating on clearance for $6.29. It was at the end of the aisle away from automotive products at the very back of the store. I grabbed one then got some bakery items. Saw a skunk strolling across the parking lot and give it a lot of room. Also saw that Menard's has expanded their selection of Mother's product and have added Barrett-Jackson line as well.
 
I'd say I'd stock up at that price, but it goes so far and lasts so long it would be hard to justify to my wife why I'd need a half-dozen kits. :D
 
Meguiars single supreme shine towels at the 99 cent stores for $1.49.

Also the armor all custom shield plasti dip spray is there if that's your thing
