Incredibly Cheap Finds

That's pretty cool, it's like a chenille wash mitt on a stick. That would be nice for maintained wheels and other wares too. I had to dig to find that post, that was way back.

You say they have something similar at Autozone?

Is it the same material?

it is exactly like a chenille wash mitt on a stick, in the middle it has flat metal than is covered by a soft sandwich of foam/ rubber like sheets sewn together, then a Chenille sock like casing over it. I stitched a string to the sock and tied it through the ring on the handle to keep the sock from sliding. works well for me, even though it wasn't intended for wheel cleaning. I have washed it several times when doing loads of micro fiber towels. just recently got some tar/oil from a drive and the gunk got in to the fibers and it is fubared a bit, so will need to replace it in the spring.

Cool, I'll have to look for one the next time I'm by one. I don't know if I need it, but I want it. I like collecting different brushes and detailing tools.

Bought a ton of these GG products early this year from Advance Auto Parts, along with GG Spray-On Car Wash and found it to be extremely streaky!(SMELLED AMAZING!) Not sure if this is partially do to shelf life of products and them being discontinued from AAP after sitting on their shelf for years.

I'll stick with my UWW+!

After finally using it I found it a bit streaky as well. Smell is awesome. Love the sprayer as well.

Griots makes a great sprayer, sorry hear it was streaky for yah though.

stopped in k-mart today and noticed the eagle one all wheel and tire cleaner half gallon was on clearance for $7...

I stopped by there today and they had the same deal - but there was like 20 ounces missing. Looks like all the half gallons they had for sale leaked.

all the ones my kmart had looked the same. the jug is kinda big so it may appear like that but i doubt every one of those has product missing. i'll bite once they go down to $3-$4...

I bought 2 boxes of TW Endura Tire Coat from Walmart online/ship to store on "clearance" for $9.78 each.

It said there was only 2 remaining so I was more than happy to find them. I like to stock up on this when I can find it cheap. It'd be a shame if they're no longer going to carry this product.

I hope they still carry it but what's even more important is that the product is still produced because it's one of the top 3 detailing products ever made....IMO!

Really?!? It's that good?
For what my opinion is worth, yes, it's that good because it not only looks good but more importantly it lasts for a long time! On top of this it's available over the counter and is inexpensive. Finally, because it dries in 10 minutes, there's never a chance of sling.

Are you on your way to the store yet? Wait, it's available on EBay or like the previous guy said, Wal-Mart online to pick up.

Oh yeah, one thing I don't like about it....the cap, it plugs up easily. I put on another one from some other product because it never clogs up.

Just make sure the tire is very clean from other products and dirt and grime. The applicator, when new, can have the product roll off of it so you need to push the product into it to kinda prime it, then afterwards it's all good.

I have a thread called battle of the tire coatings, check it out.

Yes, it's That good.

I put it on my parents new Kia along with the Endura Trim Coating on its trim. Those tires and trim never stop looking great. That baby looks better than new!

There's 3 bottles of the tire cleaner that comes inside the kit on my shelf right now. 2 more inside the unopened boxes I just bought, and at least 2-3 more that I've gone through. I buy this stuff in fear that it won't be available 1 day. Lol.

Wow! Thanks! I thing I may have some at the house I bought on clearance awhile ago. This it?

That's the trim coating, I haven't used that because I don't have exterior trim to use it on...wait, I could use it on my rear balance and front grill area, hmmmm.

I agree with Klasse, it is that good, especially for the price and the fact you can get it over the counter. Wally World has it by me for $13.

I think I bought 6 containers at a small parts store going out of business last year. They are in my garage somewhere!

The trim coating works exceptionally well on textured plastic trim. It's a bit finicky on smooth plastic trim. It can be a bit streaky on smooth trim, but not impossible to use.
