Incredibly Cheap Finds

Oh yeah, one thing I don't like about it....the cap, it plugs up easily. I put on another one from some other product because it never clogs up.

Just make sure the tire is very clean from other products and dirt and grime. The applicator, when new, can have the product roll off of it so you need to push the product into it to kinda prime it, then afterwards it's all good.

I have a thread called battle of the tire coatings, check it out.

I read that thread before. It was very informative and unbiased.

Just found a long handled wheel well brush at Tractor Supply for $1.50!

Thank you

I'm going to predict that DP goes back to the drawing board and they reformulate the product. They (DP) seem to do this with a number of their products, i.e. paint sealant for instance. DP needs to try and do something with the price as well, they just can't match TW there either but lowering their price a bit would show some good will on their part for sure

was at lowes today looking for 3.5 gallon buckets so I could use less water when washing the car and found them in the paint isle, also found regular lids for 1.38 and the gamma(sp) resealable lids for 7.28 and the buckets were 4.28. got two of each and the resealable lids fit the 3.5 buckets but require a little more force to get them on but work. forgot to take a grit guard with me but put one in the bucket when I got home and it didn't go all the way to the bottom but it is alot lower than the blue Lowes 5 gallon bucket. should work. all for 27 and change, compared to the branded ones with lids that run two three times that price for one, I got two. so less than 12 bucks for resealable screw off lid and bucket :)

You say they have the two piece snap on screw off gamma style lids a Lowes?

yes, they look like the ones sold by AG. I bought the 3.5 gallon buckets and it snapped on with a little force. wasn't looking for them but when I saw them I instantly recognized them from the this web site.

Cool, will have to see if I can find them. The plain old snap on ones are a paint in the fingers.

Lowe's and HD both sell a gamma seal in their paint departments. There's a post on REDIT about which "store" buckets fit the grit guards better than others.

Bissell little green extractor 59$ clearances from 89$ at local lowes but websites reflects that price good until 2/08/16. Non pro heat model, if it makes any difference

These are really great machines for the price. Picked up another one.

I finally got one at a HD not local to me. I'll have to check my local store the next time I go. Maybe I never saw them because I wasn't looking for them. Thanks guys and gals

I am using the last of my cheap find TW rinseless now. I have half a bottle left. This was a truly great OTC product. It would've been nice if this product had taken off so you could run to a local store and buy some of it in a pinch.

May have to check out that extractor.....

I have 3 bottles left! One will be saved and half of one bottle will go to make 1/2 gallon of FrankenDetailer.

I went to local auto parts today to pick up a crimped wire brush and found a 67% and 72% bargin off store retail price for Meguiars #17 and #10:xyxthumbs:

O`Reilly`s and it was all the Meguiars #17 and #10 they had. They did not have a whole shelf marked down.

Guy that waited on me said he was going to purchase both bottles at the end of his shift but I beat him to the punch.
