IF DG decided to grant me one wish, I'd wish that the "just wiped" appearance you get from anything that gets touched with AW had more last-ability! But, that's probably just me. I'm sure nobody else that's used it thinks the shine is insane, right? Yeah, it's just me. ;) :D

This was an older gentleman and thinks he is really doing something with his Sears bought 9 inch orbital polisher. When i told him DG came out with 3 new products he asked what they were. So i told him about the rinseless wash the waterless wash as well as the coating. He looked completely dumb founded. And asked how someone can wash a car with no water. So i explained. He was completely lost

Just got back from CQ here in the Bay Area. The only DG product on sale was 951 at $4.50 and I grabbed the last two. Everything else was the normal price and they had a lot of DG products here. Interesting.
 
Checked my local CQ in Western Mass. DG items were all regular price.
 
That's a great price on a pretty good wheel cleaner! I would use that for maintenance wheel cleanings when they aren't too dirty. Make the product work even better with a foaming sprayer....today's top tip👍

My local CarQuest finally began transferring location to the AdvanceAuto two blocks up the street, so the clearance started yesterday.
Picked up a couple of Duragloss TPPs and leather dressing at over 60% off. (Some products at 80% off.)
The discount isn't shown until the product is scanned. They were happy for me to start a pile of product at a cash register and scan to see what the biggest discounts are. Other brands of chemical product on big sale too.

I love my Megs, but I can't seem to get the same performance protection wise from them that Duragloss will deliver.

DG101 actually got me work last season. I used it on my Dad's car, and two of his friends requested it! I normally go to DG111 as my "star performer", but hey, they requested 101....

I treated my mom's car with 101 as well, back in August. Still beads just fine. No issues.

I also picked some up at CQ as they're blowing it out. Check the product though. If it looks discolored, or "goofy", I'll pass on it.

Regarding the Car Quest <> Advance Auto discussion earlier this last week....
Just went to CQ's site and for the first time since AA bought CQ, the merger is now acknowledged on the site. CarQuest.com still loads but you have to enter your zip to find a location. The page that then loads is the AA site with a header discussing the take over. Interesting...
It looks like they're actually going to start the process of rebadging the stores.

I noticed the samething yesterday when i tried finding all the CQ close to me so i can stock up on DG products. Was actually in 1 CQ and asked them if they were blowing out DG on clearance like the rest of the CQ are doing cause of the AA buy out and was told they have not been told anything
 
It's all in their cash-register computers. Select your desired product and have them scan each item for price. You can then purchase the ones you want with the biggest discounts. (For some reason, the staff is really pushing Megs product.)
 
My brother in law just made a $25.00 purchase so I got the TW tire coating kit for $5.98...thanks Amazon! I now have 3 kits in waiting and 1 in use 😊

Was fortunate to pu the TW tire kit when Kmart was discounting them for 5 bucks.

I bought the TW kit from Oreilly Auto Parts for $5.98 yesterday. I should've bought the other one they had also.
They also had TW Shine Lock sealant for $7.98,but I passed on it.

Coach, have you found an AZ CQ store that is discounting DG products? I haven't. If you know of one in the PHX metro area, please share.

Where do you coach? My son is a student athlete at that school in your avatar.

Went to two different car quests today, and both still had their dura gloss at regular price.
 
Tried my local CQ today and they too are full price for Duragloss. They said that they are independently owned so they don't offer the same sales as the rest of the stores.
