Went to a dealership detailing department, picked up a jug (one gallon) of Tire Dressing silicon free and not diluted for $20. They wouldn't tell me what it is, but I think it is Meguiars.

Do they carry 0W-40?

(I try my best to never step foot into Walmart)

My store does. Use the link I provided and do a search using the closest store to you.

I've been doing this Mobil 1 $12 rebate for years. Walmart is a participating dealer and has never denied my rebates. The stores listed on the rebate form I linked to say "Some participating retailers include:" All are not listed. There is an exhaustively long thread over on Fatwallet about this very subject. Even if they didn't accept the rebate $22.88 for Mobil 1 is a no-brainer price. I have over 12 of the 5-quart jugs sitting in my garage right now.

That's an awesome price on the eagle 1 for sure! And the Bugs-B-Gone by SeaFoam is incredible stuff for bugs, tar and sap. It's the fastest remover I've ever used. Period!
Unfortunately, neither of those stores are here in AZ. :(

Found at 99 Cents Only store. 27x32 80/20 and actually pretty plush. Gonna use it on my dog but it's still a good bargain for $2!

This past weekend I purchased some Griot's Carpet Spot Remover aerosol cans from Advanced Auto. I bought 2 cans and they rang up at $0.05 each. I went back to the shelf and bought the 3 they had left on the shelf. This stuff works pretty good.

What the hell can you buy for $0.05 nowadays?

A few years ago (heck it might even be in this thread) someone found they had some Meguiar's #34 in gallons and Meg's Clay on the clearance shelf at AA, marked at about half price (~$15). So they took it to the register and it rang up at $0.05.

So of course this went viral on here and everybody was going to their local AA to see if they could get this deal (which was helped by the store locator function on their website). I hit several stores and some were already sold out, some sold the stuff to me for $0.05, and one store the manager gruffly told me that when things are marked down to that price they are supposed to be disposed of and he couldn't sell them to me.

FWIW, it seemed that each store got 2 gallons of #34, and two jars of clay (because no store seemed to have more than 2 of each). I guess it was an "experiment" and mostly didn't sell (I'm guessing it was in the back of the store, and the only way you would know it was there was from finding it on the internet). So again, I'm guessing that "corporate" decided that these products should be marked down and put on the "clearance" shelf. Then after a certain amount of time, they decided they weren't going to sell and excessed them from inventory by marking them down to $0.05 (I'm guessing this is for tax purposes, because they considered it "worthless" but the IRS says if you have something in inventory it has to have a value greater than zero).

So I guess because everything is hooked up to the corporate computer, the "price" gets lowered to 5 cents, they forgot to tell the stores to junk it, or the stores didn't get around to it for whatever reason, or they just leave the stuff on the clearance shelf until it sells. The comment the mgr. made to me almost sounded like they send it back to the main warehouse, maybe they aggregate it and sell it to Big Lots. So, this sounds like a repeat of that with these Griot's products. I can tell you, I started uncontrollably laughing as I walked out of one AA carrying 2 gallons of Final Inspection and two jars of Meg's pro clay for $0.21 out the door (including tax). I still have the receipt. It was like legal stealing. Of course, in true product hoarding fashion, I haven't used any of it almost 4 years later...but of course I had tons of QD and clay before I even went there....

I once had a manager at AA tell me he couldn't sell me some Griots glass sealant because it came up at .05. The guy said he was supposed to just throw it away but if I wanted it I could just have it.
