Incredibly Cheap Finds

I just went to Adv Auto, & AZ, and both were out, or did not stock it. Maybe they're pulling the plug and will resell it in a different bottle under a different price. We'll see.
 
I have some on order from an online retailer who tells me it will ship in mid-July, fwiw.

I have thought about this too. That they have gotten a so awesome product for way cheap vs what it delivering. But seems a little strange to pull the plug on such as product as well. The marketing it gets just from that product makes many to try out other of their products. The hype has not reached Sweden yet. And got me a bottle of the EU version to try out. Hope they keep it.

Wally World has plenty. The one near me had 6 so I picked up 3 of them. Not the type of product I'll use on my personal cars but for customers doing basic polishes and for sale / trades this will be perfect.

I put it on 1/2 of the hood of my sons Jeep just to see how it compares to mega hybrid ceramic wax on the other half. The rest of the jeep wears Cquartz UK 3.0 and Gliss v2

That product was ok, Mother's was much better IMO. It's not that product is a failure but knowing what we know, you'd never buy that over say Mckee's N914 because of the dilution ratio which CRUSHES these products. Imagine the "average" consumer picking that product, taking it home and the "experience" they'd have! What you have on your hands is a failure and why it's now marked down 70%, too bad because used right we know they are good and effective.

if there are any good BF deals please post them here! btw, i knew it was a matter of time before HF would carry an alternative to the scangrip and long throw polisher...
 
Picked up a few bottles of Griots Leather Care for $5 and Ultimate Spray wax for $3 at Advance Auto yesterday.

That spray wax is an especially good bargain! I ought to try to pick up some because I want to do my wheel wells with it.
 
I know a lot of guys like to store their towels and pads etc in some cool ways.

I found these at Michael's (craft store) today. 60% off. $8 each.

They work great for my pad storage. I have a few more pads on the way to go with my new flex pxe80 that I recently aquired.

I’d been watching their site to see what their long throw was going to be. You could see it in their Bauer tools family photo they had in the catalog a while back, but looks like they only recently added it on the site. 20mm throw for $100. Should be interesting to hear the reviews.

Didn’t see the scangrip imitation lights though

While Christmas shopping at Meijer Plainfield I came across this.

Another product that didn’t get its chance to be the flavor of the day. They had 18 boxes. Rustoleum marketing folks should study Turtle Wax’s latest marketing strategy and replicate it, then reintroduce the product. I have a basement full of car care products so no, none followed me home.

For those interested in a scangrip alternative this looks like a nice option.

I’d say it’s comparable to the first version of the sunmatch.
