2013 Hydundai Equus:

This is an awesome and ridiculous nice car. This was an awesome opportunity and the car only had 181 miles on it. My clients bought it off the showroom floor. When the dealership detailed it they did permanent damage to parts of the exterior trim, a door handle and used a harsh cleaner on the interior have left white spots on the leather, where you can see they sprayed the cleaner directly onto the area instead of a towel. It was also covered in contamination, the paint felt like sandpaper without a plastic bag and the exterior trim was covered in rust/iron particles.

Products Used:
  • Dawn Soap
  • CG APC
  • CG El Diablo
  • CG InnerClean
  • Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner
  • CarPro Iron-X
  • Speedy Prep Towel Fine
  • ONR
  • IPA 10%
  • Menz SF4000
  • CG VRP Dressing
  • CG Window Cleaner
  • 3M Adhesive Remover
  • Pinnacle Black Label Paint Coating
  • Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating
  • Pinnacle Black Label Glass Coating
  • Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Cleaner
  • Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Conditioner
  • 303 Fabric Guard
  • CG Metal Shine

It was really hard to capture the defects on this titanium paint, but it had a lot of light swirls and scratches along with a few RIDs. I'll have reviews and maybe a how-to on the new Pinnacle Black Label products up sometime today or tomorrow, so keep a look out for that.

It still amazes me that a dealer would let a car leave looking like that? Nice job on a new car! Looks better then New! lol

Ian

Who would have ever thought that Hyundai would ever make a $70,000 car!

Now it looks like a new car SHOULD look! Great job!

Hyundai is continuing to climb up the ladder (as is KIA) and they offer lots of bang for the buck. everyday I notice more and more brand new Hyundai & Kia's out on the road, at least a couple of a day. nice job on the Equus!

Nice car! And top notch work! Looks amazing!

Thanks Guys! :dblthumb2:

Hyundai owns Kia! I just learned this the other day.

It's pretty sad what these dealerships do to the new cars , sad really, you'd think they would want to sell a flawless car, then again most people don't know what to look for, all they see is a new car that they love.
Luckily they have detailers as yourself that can correct their new car.
Fine job on this one, really is:)

Excellent work! I usually don't care for silver paint but that one really jumps inspite of dealer abuse.

Wow! Great job! That interior looked crisp and the exterior was something else! Keep up the good work and happy detailing!
