These were just released from AG.
I made my order the day I saw them , and already received them and put them to use.
Significant improvement over the standard ones.

STANDARD APPLICATOR
Cobra Microfiber Applicator Pads spread car care products evenly & neatly. Cobra microfiber is nonabrasive and safe on clear coat finishes.
Now to make matter more complicated AG usually rotates the color of the applicators when purchasing the standards. But to make things more confusing they also had a different style/type of applicator rotated in for a little white. The stitching was more secure and they were light green with (IMO) super high quality MF material used. I was very happy with these, but they are no longer being shipped.
back to my thoughts. If your taking the plunge on a MF applicator from AG, I highly suggest you pay the extra 50 cents and get the indigo. (side note: there on BOGO right now!) The Indigo material is much more durable. The standard applicators simply deteriorate FAST ! After using them once the MF material is wasted and flattened out, and I would not dare to use them on paint when seeing the way they look after some use and a wash. The indigo hold up the same way the towels used to. IMO and IME extremely paint safe and durable throughout multiple wash's while staying paint safe.
Props to AG for releasing these.
I always favored the AG MF applicators for there size and useability in tight areas. But always felt they went to complete crap after one use , and for sure after one wash (for use on painted surfaces). Then I would factor in the price of them new and always hesitate on my purchase. The Indigo applicators are just what I was looking for and from early testing, I believe will solve any issue I was having with the regular ones.
The only suggestion that I have to AG would be to find a way to make these be priced a little more fairly. I feel that they are a bit overpriced overall. I also feel the yellow foam wax applicators are overpriced as well. but thats just my rant for the day.
Otherwise, give these new applicators a try, there on BOGO.
