Keep in mind that paint hardness is very color and year specific. That's why you may read someone saying the paint is soft and someone else claiming Infiniti paint is hard.
Never know until you try. Your test spot process should be similar in all situations.
Look at the severety of the defects, if it's obvious that a finishing polish won't get you the results, grab the least aggressive compound you have (like D300) and try that on a cutting pad or light cutting pad and play around with different pressures and speeds. If that's not enough, step to a more aggressive compound. Once you start doing this, it will become evident what combo works best.
Will do, since the roof is possibly a single stage I was going to go as easy as possible on it, we'll see how it turns out, my big challenge is the etched water spots all over the drivers side paint and windows. *insert sarcasm here* Those should be fun... *end sarcasm*
