and to top it of.. its black.. so you know you really have to shine on black cars.. on top of that, i want to make a good impression on the client. so i did what everyone on here suggests.. to do a sample panel. i tried to polish with a swirl remover and nope..i went more agressive, and started to cut with a compound and that did the trick. only thing was that the whole car had swirls! all over so it wasnt no random spot or something. long process to say the least.. i tought i was going to knock it out quick since its a coupe.. but with all the 3 steps i had to do..:buffing: i was done completely in 4 hours. almost identical to the last acura i did.. but that one was a sedan.. anyhow, please check out the pics and let me know what you guys thinkFeed back please

Great job! I did a silver 2004 G35 last weekend, beautiful cars!!!

You did an awesome job. Looks like some rotary holograms were hiding in there also.

You have a good Eye my friend. he did mention that he had A previous detailer before. he said that he made Swirls go away only for them to reappear two weeks later

4 hours!
Holy Moley, you must work like "Data" from Star Trek!
Great job!

I must be getting old! LOL

Terrible job. Terribly awesome that is! That paint was a wreck but not anymore.

I am impressed also with you being able to do that in 4 hours... WOW.

Keep it up. :props:

Lol @ star trek! not sure if you guys frown upon this, but ive been using the nano pad on my pc to "clay" works just as good IMO and it cuts that claying process time down alot.

i must add that i just did the paint in that matter of time too. i didnt detailed the whole car.

im turning 32 in the end of this month.. not that young either! lol

i got down to business, took just like two 5 mins water break and back to it! i must agree, that paint was wrecked! and i wasnt really sure if i could get those swirls out.. i found out today how very important doing a test area really is

Great work :xyxthumbs:

Wow, four hours is very quick for a three step, even if it was just the paint.

Are you using a rotary? What pads / products?
