I received the Deluxe Filter System from AG today. :) The water at my house is very hard, so I thought I'd give this a shot.

I checked to make sure everything was there, it was, and proceeded to hook it up.

Installation was a breeze. I just chose a place to mount the canisters, screwed the bases in and hooked everything up. Only took about 15 minutes.

Next I washed my car with a foam gun using Meg's GC. Instantly I noticed significantly more suds. So much so I decided to do a comparison.

Here are some images for comparison. Pretty amazing...

And some more, after applying with the foam gun.

As you can see, the suds are significantly denser when using the filter. Upon drying, the water felt significatly softer as well.

I don't have a water tester to scientifically compare the two, but going by my completely non-scientific impressions, the system is very impressive and a nice addition to my detailing supplies.

Thumbs up!

the biggest value will be the finish once dried. Would love to see pics.

Outstanding job on the photos .............. Thanks a lot, this is going to sway the people who were thinking about getting this product.

Here you go! The sun's setting, so no sun shots. :( I was planning on doing a final detail and posting pics this weekend...full sun hopefully!

Wow!! What a difference. thanks so much for taking the time to review it. the car looks fantastic!! :)

Nice review! I've always felt lucky not to live in an area that has hard water.

Sevenrd, if you want me to do an analysis for you, PM me. I will need 12oz of water before filters and 12oz of water after filters. I'm NC certified grade 3 water pollution control system operator.

Edit: Turbidity, Color, pH, Conductivity, Iron, Hardness, Chorine.

That is one high-tech looking system, great job on the installation as well. Is the water pressure still the same as before?

Well I learn something about you guys everyday!

Did you notice any change in water pressure? Did you loose any with the filter on?

That was actually something I was concerned about before I hooked it up. But I noticed no loss in water pressure. Flows as strong with the filter as without.

And sparkie, that sounds like a plan. I'd be more than happy to send you samples to see what difference the system is really making.
