Installing speed govenor on car?

I think the IS rides like my Mountaineer lol, which doesn't bother me as my truck is a real truck with a live axle in the rear and ladder frame, feels as bumpy lol. But stiff riding doesn't annoy me, just no way you can fall asleed driving the new IS, now the LS on the otherhand or our LX are snoozemobiles, like a cushy cloud driving.

i prefer a stiff ride to be completely honest. ive already got H&R springs/ bilstein shocks but soon im going to be getting poly bushings everywhere i can, X brace, new sways.....i want the suspension to be as tight as possible

look up Car Chip for tracking/speed purposes, but it will not electronically govern cars speed.

like, in your RL, you're probably governed around 145-150, meaning your car's computer will not allow the car to travel any faster (either through a gas cutoff or a rev limiter). This is the same thing, but installed aftermarket onto cars that either don't have a governor (like my TL), or to have a slower governed speed.
I already tested my RL - 130 MPH :(
However my 2000 TL was limited at 155 MPH (I tested it at 150 MPH, and saw in a magezine that it is electronically limited at 155 MPH).

I personally think its rather unsafe to install a sever speed limit on cars. Sometimes you do actually need to exceed the speed limit.

I'd look into one of those blackbox systems instead. Keep people accountable, but let them committ mistakes. As long as they don't kill anyone, the lesson is much better learned through experience than from never doing it in the first place.
