instant detailer/spray wax that hides swirls

Gotta love it, OP asks for help and people tell him he's wrong...lol.

Anyway, I forgot to mention OCW. I get some decent filling with it.

No big deal yakky...I take all replies as an attempt to help.

I've used Optimum polishes to get the mark free state - best was Optimum Hyper Spray Polish, but I've gotten the same result with the Optimum non-spray polishes. Had it looking good at one point with the Meguiars 105/205 combination, too. I guess it's possible that these are just filling scratches in...

I haven't used it yet , but I wonder how optimum GPS would do for filling in swirls.

From this weeks BOGO: Flitz Spray Wax -

Flitz Waxx gives your vehicle the gloss and protection of carnauba wax, without the work. The liquid spray wax does not haze and leaves no white residue. It fills in fine hairline scratches and minor swirls in just one step. If you want quality paint protection but you don’t have the time to invest in using a carnauba paste wax, Flitz Waxx Speed Wax is the wax for you.

I ordered one (2). We will see how it works.

Not a fair statement. Black+soft paint is nearly impossible to deal with. Filling is a fact of life for many. No need to call someone a cheater for it.

Black+Soft Paint.

I experienced the same myself when I owned an all black 1994 Lincoln Town Car. I could virtually never get away with just a wash job.

Perhaps the fact that it was black played a part, that black will show everything.

The only minor upside, was any imperfections, and minor scuffs, etc seemed to be easily alleviated.

It was also quite particular with what waxes I used. One wax I once tried was the run of the mill Zymol Liquid that you find at places like Wally World. It was like waxing the car with Crisco.
