I was really busy at work today, another 10+ hour day but I did get the notifications for this and now its break time at work and I can chime in. I'm glad we've got a day now. I'm going to check out which park but I'd say it will be the one closest to 53 off of Higgins. I'll get the name and post it here several times so everyone knows which one. As far as time goes, well, I live pretty close so I can get there early and plan on staying till the last person leaves, kinda like what I did last year at our Detail Day.
 
Let's make that list grow everyone, make the upcoming snow go away...ok, wishful thinking but what the neck😋

I know this is going to be kinda hard but keep in mind your car should be in some state of dirty for this get together, whether it's something a waterless can handle or one that needed you to hit a quarter wash right before the meet, just saying.

Another thing to keep in mind is if you've got extra of something or samples of things, share because the good karma ferry will smile upon you, it did me. Let's just say I sent an AG'er a sample of my "FrankenDetailer" and not expecting anything back, ofcoarse, he sent me an unopened container of BF Black Ice. I was floored over this gesture, so I know it comes around when not expecting anything in return.

Really looking forward to this and it's the day before Fathers day, we deserve it guys!

I will definitely be bringing some stuff to clean my car. As I mentioned before, I have several great products that I love but feel I will never use in enough time before they go bad. So, I will have plenty of samples to offer people.

Because I'm so close I will surely be the 1st person there and I don't think there needs to be a certain time to show up, nothing really time sensitive or an area we have to be out by by a certain time. I'd say around 10 a.m. would be a good working time to start with. Like I said, I'll be there early, probably around 9 a.m. or so so if your an "early bird" come on out, whatever works for you guys.

Inviting non Geeks is a good idea too. Hopefully there's a fountain somewhere nearby so we can get more water if need be. I can do a regular rinseless using my Aqua sponge and another one using the GD method and that's about it with 3 gallon of cleaning solution.

Well let's just put our heads down and get through tonight/tomorrow morning and look forward to a warm day in June🌞

In closing does anyone talk to or PM Mad Merc, I haven't seen him post in some time?

That show starts early, 8 a.m. and is worth the drive down there, always "bucket list" cars there

Hey, there's a lot of good stuff there! Like I said, it's just too much for one guy with a hobby.
 
I already plan on bringing out some "FrankenDetailer" to give away, I have a certain criteria for giving away one of them, the other one will be random, just sayin'.

Looking forward to seeing your car inperson Kevin, maybe a ride in it?

Just now seeing this thread. Sad to say that I am out for the June event as I will be in Canada for a wedding that weekend. Will keep an eye out for the next one though!!!

That's a deal Kevin

"FrankenDetailer" is QD made of rinseless wash and has KSG infused into it. It can be used wet or dry and works best when it's at least 60 outside and is basically a spray wax.

I will probably be in for this. Would love to meet some of my fellow detailers. I probably got some product laying around that I don't use anymore.
