Yes it is, just E of 53 on Higgens, S side of the street. I will get the name of the park but it has BOAT in it and there's a new bridge right there, easy to find.

Just keep in mind again this is a get together to rub shoulders and wash our cars and exchange products, products that current, no old stuff sitting around. That said there's no obligation to bring something either but most of have excessive amounts of stuff. For example, I bought the new Meg's paint protect sealant just today, didn't need it but I wanna try it and will give away a 2 oz sample. Speaking of that, those 2 oz sample bottles are at every craft store FWIW.

Really looking forward to putting a name with a face and talking cars and detailing😎

Just a heads up...THIS WEEKEND IS THE FIRST SUPERCAR SATURDAY.

It starts at 8 a.m. and is at the Bolingbrook promenade.

It's once a month and they switch back and fourth between 2 locations. Not sure where the next one is, its TBD as of now. Google Supercar Saturday for more info. Also check out Rise and Drive, this show is even better and much more organized. The first one is June 21st, Fathers Day and is always in the south parking lot of Soldier Field at LSD and 18th street.

Did it have the offset stripe over the bumper, hood, roof& boot and rear bumper?

Not sure..it drives too fast for me to see. Does have tint all around though. The red stripe is on the bottom of the sides, black wheels. Clean looking.

The name of the park is Busse Lake Boating center. I checked it out yesterday and you make the first left once you turn off of Higgens and take it to the back where it loops around. The rounded parking spot will make for a great photo shoot and its easy to find. I plan on being there at 8 a.m. and you guys can show up there or anytime after that, there's NO hard time for any of this, that's just not needed. Keep in mind this is just a bunch of us getting together to wash our cars and show others some products and check out each others rides.

I also thought that the Lou Malnati's down the road would be a better choice for us to go to as well afterwards, what do you guys think?

Looks like I'll have to take a rain check on the outdoor meet. I'll be watching for the date of a indoor get together.:(

I got three, 3oz bottles for samples too. I know what I'm bringing for one of them, but not sure for the other two just yet.
 
I would like to remind everyone that there's the monthly Rise and Drive show the day after our event. Its located at LSD and 18th street, south parking lot of Soldier Field. It starts at 8 a.m. and they even feed you as well. Clean port a johns are also there, so no worries there either. You never know what's going to show up at this show, exotics are a given but muscle is also welcome, everything is welcome!

Our thread has been a little quiet. I know its been a long time in the making but this is just a little get together, hopefully we can nail down a location in the fall sometime as well.

I have a Father's Day party to go that Saturday, I know its a day early but that's when it is, so I'll be leaving around 1:30 p.m. I plan on getting there around 8 a.m. and will be start with a washing of my car and listening to "Drive Chicago" while there, nice way to relax on a Saturday morning.

Just curious as to when you guys plan on showing up?
 
I have to be at an event that starts at 4. What say around 10am? The we can talk, exchange ideas and products and then have some lunch.
