Interest in detailing business videos?

I'd definitely watch!

Just one caveat. Don't make a 20 minute video for something that only needs 2 minutes just because you like to hear yourself talk and you think others do too. :)

That is not a problem. I'm not a beat around the bush person.
 
I would definitely watch, you can always learn things from others. There is a lack of information regarding the business aspect. Darren does go over some of it, but there is room for a lot more info. Garry Dean started a web site for this purpose, have not subscribed yet because of the price. If you decide to pull the trigger, make sure you post links here so we can subscribe to your Youtube channel.

Naw he's ok but he does talk a lot about himself. He's not the best detailer either. But it's something to watch that has to do with detailing.
 
Good videos are always needed especially to help offset all the bad ones.

Do you plan to require people to pay like one detailer does?
 
I would be interested in them. You always have insightful posts and I have a lot of respect for your work and business prowess. I am going to boot camp next month, and shortly after that will be going full time. I wish I had come down for your casino job. I did make it to the Garage Squad detail up north.

No requiring anyone to pay, it will be a straight up youtube channel. I might monetize it, but heck even if I were able to grab most of the detail audience it would still be just a few dollars per video.

I wouldn't be doing it for the money, it would be to help out a community that has helped me out so much over the years.

If you didn't catch my drift, I was referring to another well known detailed who never stops talking on his videos.

I'm sure yours will be great. Keep us posted.
 
Do it and share, you'll open your audience and everyone will appreciate the info.

There is no "right" detailing knowledge, just things that seem to work for some people.
 
Ok then, I'm going to do it. My wife will be starting a new job soon so once that gets normalized I will start recording and posting videos. Once I get some initial feedback there should be a fairly clear direction on what the audience interest is.

Should get this rolling in 2-4 weeks.
