Of course there was a reason for Mercedes to tell Hamilton to push for a wider gap out front at the end of the race but to try to overcome a penalty for having his left front tire out of pressure tolerance by 4/10ths or 4/100ths of one PSI is wild.

And Kimi may have sealed his fate at Ferrari with his start botch! Pretty good podium though...Lewis, Sebastien (representing Maranello and the Tifosi) and a fan favorite in Massa.

Half a pound of air in an F1 tire is a big deal. 1.1 psi in Rosburg's tire is worse. Those results won't be official, I'm guessing.

Judging by the in-car, Kimi did everything correctly. And, his fate at Ferrari was sealed already when he signed an extension for 2016.

Interesting that FIA allowed the breach of tire pressure rules by Mercedes. Seems like lately, rules are just a suggestion for whomever they want to enforce them on.

It has kind of become a farce and hard to watch this season. Tremendously frustrating for a long-time F1 fan.

Waiting to hear the outcome of the investigation i was thinking it could go both ways. Not enforce anything or give him a 30 second penalty and give the win to Vettel and Ferrari. The latter would have created an enormous uproar from Mercedes and they'd dispute the gauge calibration or something...

It was a good drive for Kimi though, dropping all the way back on the start to finishing P5.

I agree, it isn't the same F1 in recent years though.

Interesting race. IMO a pretty boring track though.
I'm hoping Honda is able to compete one day.

Honda's been in and out over the years and currently supplies McLaren with engines. I have a feeling they'll be back.

I LOVE Monza as a circuit. It's incredibally fast.
