I didn't read through it word for word, but it seemed pretty accurate compared to a lot of 'detailing' articles out there that aren't associated with the known detailing places.
However....Glass (Once a month)...?
Nah, how about Glass (Everyday)? Glass (Every Few Hours)? Anyone?
Interesting tidbits:
- Squeegie drying is advocated
- Less is more? Not so much: http://roa.h-cdn.co/assets/16/20/480x596/1463754827-4-applicator_pad.jpg
- A barbecue skewer wrapped with a towel is advocated to apply sealant to hard to reach places.
- Autogeek and Autopia are referenced in the article.
- Spend only $200 on all supplies needed? Yea right lol.
I don't think that's too bad of an article for those outside of our little universe. As previously mentioned, i don't like the advice to blade dry with a "silicone blade squeegee" but if that's the only thing i can't really agree with it's not bad. I also don't agree with the recommended frequencies (monthly) but i understand this article is targeted at the car enthusiast but not a detail enthusiast. I think we all agree that the average non detailer doesn't do those things nearly as often as suggested in the article.
