Interior Detailing????????

What's the point of vacuuming the console and radio controls? you pressure washed all the dirt deep into the crevices where no vacuum can reach it. Use the cream to seal it in.

"I don't always detail the car's interior, but when I do, I use 3200 psi...."

I love the "light mist" using a zero degree pressure washer nozzle.

Did he say that his company does about 2000 cars per year? Thats like 5.5 cars a day EVERY day of the year. If you can fix his mistakes seems like you could have a pretty lucrative business going around behind him and cleaning up his mess. lol

Could someone send him a link to this forum?

If I tried that with my luck everything inside would fade, crack, dry out, rot, short, discolor, and everything else that you could possibly imagine.

Yeah, I had a little trouble with his math, too--didn't he say it took him 5 hours to do that truck? So he could only do 2 a day, so if he works every day, that's only a bit over 700 cars. So either he's bad at math, or he has other highly trained crews following the same proven method...

Reminds me of a friend of mine who would say to workers like him, "well, you're not good, but you're slow"

I think i heard him say he sprays degreaser in the interior, all over everything.

Yeah, but it's ok, he washes that in with the pressure washer, then "extracts" about 5% of it with that quick vacuuming.

I'm going to lighten up on the guy, at least he's making a living, and the truck did look pretty good when he was done.

I'd agree, especially if you knew how to repair/reinstall electrical circuitboards and wiring.. because we all know that those elements are waterproof for the most part.. smh

What about water damage to electronic and mold and mildew? Why not just drive the car in a torrent of rain with the windows down...

Sike

Is power washing the interior the same as flood damage. Yes I'm a " hater" as he called it. I hate the fact you just destroyed that car. Don't forget to run a dehumidifier in there so you don't get mold. What an idiot. 2000 cars a year like that. Unbelievable

I missed part of the video due to a phone call, but from what I saw, I think I'll pass on his technique! I worry about misting cleaner/protectant on controls.

omg at this crap is from CA makes me embarrassed to be from CA lol

Eventually he'll damage an expensive car. He'll get water behind an expensive lcd screen or behind a digital instrument panel. I've never seen such stupidity.

Reminds me of this guy:

Being a mercedes lover, this is just depressing, all those electronics are probably toast.

In addition to whatever electronics might be harmed, what about the interior of the vehicle looking a lot like an undocumented flood car for insurance purposes? Those seat tracks are going to rust like crazy.
