Interior glass cleaning

I like Meguiar's D120 Glass Cleaner a little over
6.17 times more than Aquapel's Glass Cleaner. :)

I don't mind paying more for a much better product.

Is it empirically or quantifiably "much better"? All we know is that it's "much more expensive".

I like it better for a few reasons. I am not in the business, as an enthusiast detailer I do primarily my own cars and help a few friends out with theirs. A case will last me a couple of years.

Depending on your water quality, extended dilutions can become a factor as far as streaking, sprayer performance and in some situations spoilage of the diluted product. dilution bottles need to be clean and labeled. Spray bottles can leak if not properly handled.

Diluted cleaners are thin and watery, Aquapel is thick and foamy. It also seems to work well for a quick dash clean-up.

Perhaps some of you more scientific could provide the necessary empirical and quantifiable information plainly needed here. FunXX your Meguiars is about .0112 per oz while Aquapel is more like .215 or a ratio of about 19:1

Some of you have the ability to get a windshield clean with your hot breath and a paper towel. I am not one of these peaple and need all the help I can get.

Better can be subjective at times.

Perhaps a breakdown of their ingredients may
be helpful in determining "better"? Here goes:

Both D120 and this Aquapel Glass Cleaner contain:
•2-Butoxyethanol...surfactant
•An "alcohol"...a type of solvent
•Water...carrier/universal-solvent

Their main differences are:
•Their "types of alcohols"
•Their delivery systems

Let's begin with the "alcohols:
•D120's is Isopropyl Alcohol...IPA
•Aquapel's is Ethanol Alcohol...
-also used in products like: antifreeze mixtures
Note: Not something I'd ever use on any of
my vehicles' dashes...but to each their own:

TO WIT:
Aquapel is thick and foamy.
It also seems to work well for a quick dash clean-up.

Next...Their Delivery Systems:
•D120 mostly by liquid spraying vessels
•Aquapel by propellant: propane/butane

AFAIC:
I would not use the product containing
Ethanol...but for anyone else: The decision
of which is better, can, once again, continue...
if so desired.
