So just finished my move from Gulfport MS to Sunny Italy!
On the detailing side of the house just about all of my detailing product didnt make it through USPS so i have been cut a decent insurance check. There is a fellow "Detailer" as he calls him self who also is an adams product distributor.. needless to say everyone on this base has a mis interpretation of what detailing consists of... so i will be stepping my game up as well... the cars here are TRASHED inside and out.. i have all the necessary tools to bang the outside out quick enough however the inside normally the most time consuming part for me...
i feel like it might be time for a tornador....
i think that the work load will be steady enough and the cars are bad enough to justify the purchase...
Im about to order a few gallons of meguiars D103 (orange) and plan to use that in the tornador black. it seems like a very cost effective product and lots of folks seem pretty happy with it.
ill be picking up a small compressor as well... ( my options are limited here on compressors so hopes and dreams of a twin screw are just not going to happen. probably a pos craftsman 30 gallon[largest they have at the store])
Those of you with the tornador black. is the cost justifiable over the regular tornado? and what are your thoughts on using the D103?
Side note to the products replaced due to mail loss
already picked up
Menzerna FG400, 2500, 4000.
gallon sized clay lube, bare bones, cg G6, Honeydew, citrus wash and gloss.
IronX 4 bottles
sonax wheel cleaner 4 bottles
simple green and trusty dawn dish soap.
meguiars mild clay
Daytona wheel brush combo
finger mits
car pro mit
(items to come in the moving pack out are all my buckets, spray bottles, pads, buffer, pad cleaner and the bulkier detailing things that i could not mail) (mailed items figuring it would be faster than moving company and less of a hassle with customs... wrong wrong wrong...)
So if you can think of any more should haves for items on hand that aren't coming or that i have already replaced.. please let me know now as well to help keep me from being knee deep in a car and catching what i forgot to replace...
