Interior Product

I use FK 108 Top Kote. I really like the stuff... It leaves a clean new looking interior without any slickness or shine. I use it all over the place inside my corvette. Seats, dash, trim, and anything else that will hold still.

I'm not sold on the anti-static part of it though... it might work... slightly. Then again I have a convertible and with the top down it's always going to be dusty inside.

I have a convertible as well. I've found the DP reduces dust accumulation because it's SO non-greasy. 303 and Poorboy's NL leave a pretty non-greasy finish too, but the DP is totally dry.

I don't have DP Protectant but want to get some b/c it apparently smells like Bannanas, I love Bannanas:D

Yup! It smells like bananas. So does the DP car wash soap.

OK. I hope this also helps. Here's a picture of the DP and Poorboy's NL side by side. The dash has DP and the door has PB's NL . . .

Also, here's a picture of my whole interior all the vinyl/plastic was done over with DP . . .

BENCE, that is a serious shine - what's your process?

If you mean my avatar pic, the process was 1Z Intensive Paste, 1Z High Gloss Polish, FK1 303 Foam Pad Glaze topped with FK1 Pink Wax & FK1 425 QD.

The car is actually a 92 Camry, dark green metallic.

Nice - thanks. I'm new to detailing and just learning. I have a 04 330ci BMW (black) and I love driving it and love washing / waxing it. This forum is great.

I've never been a big fan of the "Armor All" look on the interior plastics, but I need something.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for the dash/doors/etc.? I don't want something shiny, just a factory look.

Just my $.02 Have used a number of products. 303 is a quality product. this year I tried LVR Protectant from Liquid Tech. Very pleased with results. It is lanolin-based and provides a non-oily water repellant and anti-static protection. Contains no silicones. Also has a suncreen.

I like the 303 too. Not only for its look, but I can also use it on the ENTIRE interior. Plastic, rubber, aluminum trim, and yes, leather too.

Is Plexus spray a detailing agent or just a cleaner?????Is it a decent product???

Plexus is a light polish for plasic components. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for paint!

It works well for light polishing of smooth plastic parts on your car (like plastic lenses). If you need something with a bit more polishing action, though, you can try Meg's PlastX or the Wolfgang Headlight Restore kit (I think that's the name).

Plexus works well also on plastic inside. Heavier plastic polishes can often "haze" the thin plastics found inside cars (by plastic I mean the lenses over your speedo and tach, and tint, for example).
