Interior Protectant Recommendations

The 303 does leave a little sheen, I'm okay with it. I noticed the first time I used it I must have missed a little spot on the speaker grille on the dash and it drove me nuts until I could get home and go over it again.

I also keep a Swiffer duster in the glove box, that thing is CLUTCH.

When you get low give the new TWHS Inside Job a try, I think you'll have a new favorite

I mean I can use both, right

I've learned from my counselor that you can feel 2 ways about things, so I'll apply it to this as well. Look at it like this, Interior Mist is a pure cleaner and Inside Job leaves behind protection AND cleans, kinds like our toppers or certain RW's

This reminds me that I need to go the Turtle Wax website and write a review for it as well as their graphene spray tire coating

It does. If you like 303, try Optimum Protectant Plus aka Leather Protectant. I think it's even better.

Of course you can… just “poking the bear” a little this morning to entertain myself. It’s all good, new stuff comes out and we all like to try it. It’s part of the disease that we all have in common. It made Bob McKee a multi-millionaire (not a put down, just an observation).

I would point out that Interior Mist DOES leave UV inhibitors behind so it is not just a pure cleaner, but that would be “poking the bear” a little more which I don’t want to do .

It's all good but I can't say I noticed the slickness left behind with Interior Mist like Inside Job though. Turtle Wax must have a team commissioned to out do previous products, sounds like an "Inside Job" to me

Anyone tried the Scholl dressing or Shine Supply one?

303 is my go to for interiors because it just flat out works. They have many solid products in their line up but like many companies they have "that one", 303 protectant is "that one"

303 is great for all interior surfaces except glass and leather.

They have their own leather products, noone is putting 303 protectant on their vinyl or leather seats...right

A nice thing about 303 is that you can get it in a gallon. I'm going to have to order one soon.

Something that occurred to me lately, and maybe it's due to the somewhat temperate climate w regards to the sun, is that none of my cars (going back to becoming a so-called adult in 1989) ever had any problem with interior materials cracking, fading or getting prematurely worn. I rarely (never on some cars) used any interior protectant and never saw any unfortunate effects from lack of protection.

I'd guess Arizona would be a somewhat less satisfying experience due to the extremes w/ regards to sun though.

It does make you wonder if an interior protectant is even needed. Maybe for a car that lives outside and different climates the difference is greater.

I think a quick QD wipe down is all that is needed for cars that are well maintained.

Interior Mist has some UV protection, combined with Inside Job it could very well make a designated protectant unneeded

Quite possibly! The only reason I was after a designated protectant was because I don’t do our interiors all that often (time and I hate it). If I did them weekly, or even bi-weekly, a light cleaner with some light protection is all I would use. The protectant is more for the wife’s car which sits outside baking in the sun 24/7! I’ll check out the TW stuff.

You could get by with just TWHS Inside Job, which is a "tad" thicker than TWHS Interior Mist but I plan on using them every other application soon, been using Inside Job alot lately because it's the new toy, LOL

I’ll check them out! I wouldn’t mind having a look at CarPro and Gyeon’s new Interior QDs as well (for my car). Maybe 303 or Gyeon Preserve, or something else for the wife’s car. Can understand the new toy part!

what's the issue with 303 on vinyl seats? I've never had vinyl seats so I've never tried it.
