Interior: rubber mats and fabric seats

Ill remove my mats hit them with aps and scrub then rinse and allow to dry well
 
Just did mine the other day. I apc scrubbed and rinsed. Then I coated them in mothers vlr after dry. They look great. First time I've done a dressing on these mats. Had them for at least four years.
 
I love using Meguiars All Wheel and Tire Cleaner from their Detailer Line combined with the pressure washer. Not a whole lot that combo can't combat, and I see a lot of dirty mats up here in the mountains.

If I dress them, I like a light coat of M40.

I have used d143 non acid wheel cleaner also at 1:1 on my weather techs cleans them better than their apc at 10:1 or 4:1 not sure if it would be the same at 1:1 but I already have the wheel cleaner at 1:1 and it aint broke so... I use D141 quick interior detailer to dress them just gives them a better look than straight dry but adds no slickness that worries me for traction.
 
A good steam cleaning for the rubber mats I found breathes new life in them. I do this once every 6 months and in between use Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew, tire cleaner. I spray them down and wipe with a terry cloth.

For fabric i will use either D101 10:1 or 6:1, or folex depending on stain type to pretreat. Then hit with steam (mcculloch from harbor freight) or the bissel pro heat. then once dried apply 303 fabric guard.
 
Mats - APC also Usually Meguiar's Detailer line
Seats - Too many products to list. Some of them are FOLEX, Meguiars, Chemical Guys. (all products made specifically for fabric/carpets)
 
For black plastic and rubber, I prefer Amazing Roll Off. It doesn't leave a dull haze like most APC's do. So I mainly use it on all weather mats and plastic in wheel wells. Rinse, spray, wait, scrub, rinse, dry.

For upholstery, I just use CG Lightning Fast diluted 1:20 and my Bissell. Dampen the seats with water in the Bissell, spray CGLF, scrub gently with upholstery brush, rinse/extract with just hot water in the Bissell.

I've been thinking about what to do with rubber mats after cleaning them with APC.. Quik Interior Detailer sounds like a great idea. Thx for the tip.
 
I ended up with a Mytee 8070 Hot Water Carpet Extractor, Vapormore Steamer and Tornador. I find I rarely ever use the steamer. In a 50/50 test on light colored cloth mats, I found the extractor does a much better job. The steamer cleaned well, but didn't really remove dirt. More or lease moved it around.

The best thing I found for rubber mats is a good old fashion scrubby brush, preferably the Pinnacle Leather Brush, DP HD APC (10:1) and water rinse. They come out really nice.

If needed, the fabric seats, mats and carpet turn out well with the carpet extractor. In lieu of carpet extractor, I found that DP Upholstery cleaner dwelling for 10 minutes, followed by my soft aqua brush attached to my PC 7424xp works great as well. One has to be careful using a brush on carpet as you don't want to pull the nap up. Hence the soft brush. If the carpets are really bad, (salt crust), I'll let the DP Dwell, then aqua brush, then extract.

I also have someone doing the interior now (Interior Gal) while I'm on the exterior and she has training and IICRC certifications in Upholstery cleaning and repair. It's a huge time saver having someone else.
