I was just wondering what the fastest and most efficient way to completely clean the interior. This includes: windows, vacuuming, dusting plastic, steaming seats/upholstery. I don't have nor can afford a carpet extractor so I have a Little Green Machine with the heater(works well!).
The vehicle is a Chevy Lumina with a pretty dirty interior. I will try to post pictures if I have time. Also, what products do you use inside to achieve the best results? Thanks for your answers!

Rasky has an awesome breakdown on another site. Google: Simple Yet Effective Interior Cleaning by Rasky Auto Detailing.

Dear Michael & Friends

I checked out Rasky's article because I haven't applied any cleaner or protectant to our new van's leather interior yet.

It's clean so I guess I just need to apply some protectant.

Do you recommend the 303 Aerospace Protectant?

Good product but not one of my favorites. Prefer 1Z Cockpit Premium or Megs QID.

I personally wouldn't use 303 on leather seats. I use Lexol typically for leather seats. Or Leathermasters. But the leathermasters kit is pretty expensive.

I like 303 on the dash, door panels etc. I actually gave PERL a try a few weeks ago on my HHR and I think I may be switching up my dressing for interiors. The PERL is still looking good after 2-3 weeks.

Dear Jason

Thanks for responding.

Into my cart Lexol goes.

How often should I use Lexol and 303 or PERL on our garaged vehicles?
