Hey fellas....

A quick question.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the interior on a Acura TL that I'm going to sell. I want to dress up the interior trim, but without all the greasiness that stuff like Armor-All leaves behind.

Can you guys give me some suggestions on what would look best. Keep in mind that the dash would be done as well...we've all see what a super shine on a dash does on a sunny day. (For those of you who don't know...it leaves a hell of a reflection when looking out the windshield while driving....a reflection of you driving.)

If I have to order it...that's ok. I still have the buffing and waxing to to.

Thanks.

I will be trying 303 Aerospace soon. It's supposed to leave a matte, non-greasy finish.

Optimum protectant plus. Perfect matte new look. Super easy to apply and works fantastic on leather also.

That's kinda a like saying...."I'd go with the F-18 Hornet, because I hear landing a F-14 Tomcat is a real #####. Cant wait for my F-18 to come in the mail."

I don't quite get the analogy but I chose that based on customer reviews and my own research here in the forum. I didn't just think, "Well, that sounds cool". I trust the people on the forum so take it for what it's worth.

I didn't mean to come across as crass. It's kinda hard to say things in a comedic way on the internet without coming across as an a@@. I took your post as saying, " I've never used this product, but it sounds great for what you what." I've never flow a military aircraft, and perhaps you haven't either, so I have no idea how hard it is to land one, and perhaps you don't either.

Forgive me if i offended you.

Mothers VLR/ protectant combo or Meg's quik interior detailer/natural shine combo.

No worries at all. I agree that sometimes comments can be taken out of context when it's written instead of spoken. I wasn't offended but I wanted to explain why I bought it and why I can't wait to use it. I was looking for the exact same results that you're looking for. I'm just a noob and and just want to contribute where I can. =)

DG203......very good and smells great!

Mothers VLR is a great product also......altho it is not recommended for plastic.

Optimum protectant plus is another great product.

these are the ones I use the most.......leaning more on DG.

Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer

My go to for my personal cars... it cleans, and protects at the same time with a nice sheen but no unsightly gloss. More of a new car look. The best thing is I use it on my plastic, clear nav screen, gauge cluster plastic, vinyl, etc. Complete interior product. Smells nice too. I use this as my low shine product alone for my customers. If they want high shine I add supreme shine protectant on top of it.

Works good as a cleaner... example a gentleman whose daily driver was pretty grimy on the inside wanted my complete interior package... basically I take tlc and make it as new looking as I can. The hardest thing on his was where his left elbow always sat on his door while driving. He didn't exactly come home clean from work so I had a nice black ring on light tan vinyl ... about 30 seconds of this product on a mf towel brought it right off. No discolor and didn't have to follow with anything else. Just a deep carpet shampoo, and some nook and cranny work, finished with a vacuum and glass cleaned and we were done. Other than a few frays on the driver side carpet where he rested his left foot it looked brand new.

Several great suggestion so far. Without a doubt 303 is da' bomb, goes on nice, and doesn't have any slick look to it. Blackfire interior protectant isn't bad (and hasn't been mentioned). If Tim says DG203 works, then you can take that to the bank! ;) And of course the Megs QID leaves a nice matte finish. (They have a glossy one too.)

I dont get the aircraft analogy either, he wasnt comparing 2 products like your analogy of 2 different planes??

BUT

I love Meguiars Hyper Dressing at 3:1, and the 303 is GREAT too, not greasy at allllllll but still glows.
