Introducing - Prima Hydro Seal & Hydro Wash!

I usually like to wash the car after i've done my polishing so now i can take time off of drying and go straight too sealing:dblthumb2:
 
Yes, Hydro Wash is pH neutral. It's also biodegradable. It is "basic" autowash without polymers, beading agents or gloss enhancers. It's a pure cleaner.

Mark makes a good point about those annoying drips of water that shake out of the car as you apply your wax or sealant. With Hydro Seal, you just slurp them up as you go.
 
Right now on My car i have 2 coats of Amigo,2 coats of Supernatural Hybrid and Hydro. Before I use Hydro seal I plan on washing with Hydro wash then should I just apply Hydro seal or should I use Amigo to get the other stuff off first?

I don't want the above question to go unnoticed ^^^^^^^^^... But I can't wait to try the new prima sealant.

If Amigo removes things, what would be the point of putting two coats on?

Just to make sure everything is off. I did that to get the WG fusion off.
I am really asking if the SNH underneath with alter durability or looks. If so I wil remove and start over.

Makes sense. What others are plain like that? I don't suppose any of the Megs would be...?

I feel like it's a lot easier, and cheaper, to do a wash with PowerClean instead of go around a car twice with a glaze. Not to mention a huge waste of time.
 
Hydro Seal is pretty friendly. You should be able to apply it over pretty-much any other sealant. I'm not familiar with the Supernatural Hybrid, but if it has carnauba, then you will have a bonding issue.

Beyond a possible bonding issue, if you layer HS over another product, you won't get a "pure" view of the Hydro Seal look. Not a huge deal, but something to consider.

Thanks, that's actually what I was worried about. I think I will take the other stuff off with Amigo and start over.
 
Sorry if I missed it, but is Hydro Seal trim/plastics friendly?

hydro seal really sounds like a different product. interesting. application is really different. would like to hear some more input of users of this product.
 
Since I'm in metro Denver, I picked up some hydro wash and seal from Nick. He's been very helpful and his products do what they're made to do.
Since we now have a BLACK Honda Odyssey, I was looking for something to make the big job easier.
It took awhile to get the process right. My mf was too wet, and I was spraying too much water on the panels. Since I have a big vehicle, I had a lot to practice on, and it works great. The more that i did, the less that I had to wipe off. It'll be faster and easier the next time, which will be soon to get on another coat, and to do the roof.

But since you just bought some from the "factory" I take it that it hasn't been discontinued.

Is hydro seal essentially a replacement for hydro, or are there cases where you'd want just the hydro, not the hydro seal?
 
I've actually had it for awhile. The Ody and I have had a hard time scheduling time to do this.
The hydro seal is available on Autogeek.
