They have completely different uses. With an air compressor you have many uses on the interior and some for the exterior.

The DP blower is great in the exterior, but on the interior it's a little big and is nothing like the air compressor.

conman1395, thank you.

i'll take advantage of the July 4th discount.

I'll save $ to buy aircompressor later.

BTW, do you know what size (gallon) of air compressor I should get? Looking to use it with the Tornador.

Thanks again.

No problem, but unfortunately I never have used the Tornado.

Update DP Turbo Dryer:
In the words used by my daughters DP Turbo Dryer is "The BOMB!!!" I am really impressed by the performance, quality, and time savings using DP Turbo.

for those of us that already have a shop vac or two, it's well worth the price :xyxthumbs:

I got mine on sale when it fist came out for $95.00 so what's the big deal.

How do you keep the hose from coming off the blower? Mine comes off at least two to three times when I use it. I was thinking about gluing it on. Don't really want to do it but it gets irritating having to always reconnect it.

Yes this is all of a sudden happening to mine as well. It barely fits in there and when it starts popping out it doesn't want to stop. Pretty annoying.

try pushing it on really tight and it shouldn't come off as easy or at all. also, there is a zip-tie (use a small crescent wrench to tighten it) that comes with it so make sure to use that as well...

I am having the same issue as well and it's getting to be very annoying. Mine never shipped with a zip tie.

Don't think a zip tie will work. Was thinking of a hose clamp but I don't think that will work either. There is a slope where the hose attaches, it's not straight. Might have to roughen up the surface and super glue it.

Maybe try a zip tie.

Zip tie is not gong to work. I tried wrapping the hose end with some tape to make it larger to fit on the blower. Going to see if this fixes the problem.
