I want to put some Collinite 476 on my car for the winter. I have poli-seal, opti-seal and ocw on the car from 2 months ago. Being lazy, I would prefer to hope to remove the sealants with IPA alone before putting the Collinite on the car. Would the IPA work without claying??

Thanks

Yes. All this stuff isn't really that critical in the final analysis. If you're just trying to get your winter LSP on, you don't need the IPA, IMO, just wash and wax. The IPA won't hurt however, but it will remove all or most of your base. You were planning to wash before the IPA?

:iagree:Your base is only 2 months old, just wash and wax. You can clay and strip during spring.

I say go for IPA and then wax to get maximum durability from the Collinite.
