Iron Decon & matte wheels

Any reason not to use an iron decon wheel cleaner (sonus full effect etc) on the Night Spoke wheels on my '08 MINI Cooper Sidewalk edition?

They are described as a burnished matte black.

The only main concern I can think of is that such cleaner may stain the finish, now if the wheels are factory matte painted wheels it supposed to have a matte clear coat on them.....take that with a grain of sugar...that said I would just get a matte soap or specific matte products to pamper such finish....hopefully this insight will help......p.s if you do proceed with this cleaner make sure to do a hidden test spot first
