Mike,
My buddy has a 2013 genesis that he just bought, and we noticed when he bought it that it had some orange dots along the back bumper. He's had the car going on 3 months, and washes it weekly, and we've found that they've gotten worse. Recently we did some research and found others having the same problem and that it was iron/rust deposits or rail dust is what it was apparently called. Anyway, yesterday we set forth to do everything we could to get them from the back bumper. We washed the car, pulled it into the shade, then used carpro iron-x remover (pretty much 2/3 of the 550ml bottle). We let it sit as directed, saw it turn purple and reapplied it a few times. Rinsed the car and spent 2 hours clay-baring the bumper to try to get the spots off to no avail. I was wondering if you had any ideas on the next step we could possibly take to fix this issue. Here's how it looks now after our work yesterday, it looks better than when we started, but unfortunately it's still there
Thank you In advance for your help,
Michael Nicastro
