I have my 1st Cars & Coffee scheduled for Saturday the 2nd/July (unless something happens). It's going to be a big one down in Columbus, OH.

Do you think that two days (or maybe a day and a half) is long enough for an AutoGeek to get a big, BLACK car ready? I'm just glad I've already worked on this car and it only needs a light polishing instead of the full boat.:buffing::buffing:

Can get it done if you have products in hand. When I did our cars:

Saturday:
Wash, Clay, WG Total Swirl Remover, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze

Sunday: 1 or 2 hrs to prep with WG Perfekt Finish Paintwork Preb, WG Uber Ceramic.

I move kinda slow though.

I'm doing this today and tomorrow with "Daddy Duties" on both days.

Is this the one held at Cup O' Joe...
Lennox Town Center? TIA

okay...time for stupid question from the newb.....these 'Cars and Coffee' events.....are they run/sponsored/sanctioned by any organization? I'd love to see one of these near where I live......

If doing everything by hand and your products don't dry hard, etc. and cause extra time to clean them off/remove them, you should be fine. When I use my dual action polisher it adds a lot more time.

I think some are, but I don't know about this one other than it's close (relatively) to me and it's the first one I've really found.

I did a full correction on a 2007 Black metallic dodge ram
Took me 11.5 hrs

But probably had over 2hrs worth of breaks as it was 82 and humid as hell outside
And it was my friends, so didn't whip it out like I would of with.Customer,

A typical wash,polish/wax should take about 5hrs give or take 30 mins

I'm down to 3/4 of a day now and I haven't even washed it yet! That will happen in about 5 hours, when I get a bit more sleep. Darn this getting older crap and waking up all through the night.

I'm not sure, but I think so.
I've posted about it here before and I
know several members from Columbus
here are aware of it

Columbus Cars and Coffee meets every
Saturday at Cup O’ Joe at Lennox Town Center
-9am to 12pm…

This Saturday (July 2nd) I'm meeting up
with one other member here who is making
the drive down from Akron!
I'm in LOL

Go to carsandcoffee.com and search for your area. They have them all over the country I believe. I'm going to mine tomorrow in Wilmington N.C....hopefully rain holds off

Yep. Get out here if you haven't already. Last week we partnered with the National Corvette Restorers’ Society for their annual Cruise-In. They had quite a decent turn out.

I'll try and get some pics up from last week and perhaps consolidate a bunch into one album.
