Is CQUK 30mL enough for an Audi A6 wagon?

Hey guys so I'm beginning to experiment with coatings. Will be coating my 335 coupe with CQUK over Thanksgiving break and my dad wants me to do his Audi A6 avant as well. It will give me two cars to practice on before offering it up as an option to my customers. My question is, will the 30mL CQUK be enough for his wagon??

Also, while reading about applying it, it says don't re-use the microfibers because they will crystalize and harden. Does this mean that once I use them, I have to throw them away? Or just wash them?

If I need to throw them away, what towels do you guys use to wipe off with. I just ordered a bunch of Rag Company eagle edgeless towels and would rather not ruin them

Ok, thank you. Any info on the microfiber situation?

30 mL is plenty. I used 15 mL on my Civic. I've only used CQuartz (non UK) so I can't comment on the towels.

If you have not bought it yet i would recommend the kit that comes with the suede applicators and suede towels to remove it. And no you cant wash them. the applicators you can flip over and do a couple of panels
with them. Also the 30 ml kit is plenty for that car plus you can probably do another one. good luck

Yeah, I already have one kit so I was going to buy just the 30mL bottle and extra suede applicator towels.

I was talking about the microfibers used to remove the residue afterwards. I read it as those would crystallize. Is it just the suede cloths that will crystallize?

All towels. The coating crystallizes, not the towels themselves.

Buy a couple packs of the applicators and suede towels for removing

The thought is that the coating wiped off while leveling the application or high spots will harden in the fibers of the MF towel and ruin them

I applied CQuartz UK to the roof of my SUV

The MF towels that were used for the buff off were immediately thrown in a bucket with water and APC (1 gallon of water with approx 5oz of APC).

Machine washed and dried them as normal and they came out fine. They pass the visual and feel tests

Thanks for the info guys! Looks like I'll be busy doing two coatings and details along with a couple customer cars over Thanksgiving break

Ah, carp. I knew I forgot something. Bucket of water and APC. Oh well, three Super Plushes that will get "NOT FOR PAINT" Sharpied on them. Carp.

I can 5 vehicles out of a 50ml bottle so you should easily get 1 vehicle done with 30ml.
