I was watching the areal shots on the news and have never seen anything like it. Make sure you keep a watchful eye on it because water can come at you and if it does get out of there in a Flash!!

Yea, everything is just lovely here. Obama is going to be here on Monday for a photo-op. I got hung up in one of Bushes motorcades once and damn near got myself put in jail for doing a u-turn. I'm gonna be sure to be at home all day Monday :dig:

Ha ha, I remember one of those times in CA something was going on and they were showing all these fires on TV so I called someone I knew there to check on him and asked "are you ok?" and he said "what are you talking about?" and I said "on the TV here it looks like the whole city is on fire" and he said "that's what it looks like on the TV here, too...but it's like one block--everyone else is fine"...making me feel like an idiot and realizing how the media sensationalizes this stuff. Remember that moon landing thing? What a bunch of malarkey...

I tell you what they accomplished. Our dude here in charge of conventions that decide to locate here said yesterday 2 major ones had called thinking they needed to cancel, as they understood the entire city was underwater The local tourist attractions are all reporting business is down drastically since the media started running with this. Now they have made their way down to Missisippi to try and wreck their economy
