Get some. Car pro descale for acidic and Mckee’s coating prep soap for alkaline. Bilt Hamber AutoFoam or touchless will also work for alkaline but only comes in gallons.

The ABC wash kit can be had by calling Automotive International/ Valugard

Is there an alternative route I can take? Like can I get just one wash to prep the surface?

You can do one or the other. Probably would do descale if only one but both would be better and worth it.
