is it safe to use pressure washer to wash car?

Yes, it's safe with discretion. I have used VISITOR's Rule...try your hand for safe distance. I've never hurt my hand thus paint. And it IS faster.

We had rain last night, and thus ugly spots this morning, so I washed my fusion earlier today, front to back, using my pressure washer and some car wash concentrate specifically made for PWs.. Didn't even touch my buckets.

1 - Spray down with car wash solution, let dwell 1 minute
2 - Spray down 1 more time with soap solution, and agitate with chenille wash pad
3 - Rinse from top down with 25 degree head using only water
4 - Dry with waffle weave towel and Meguiar's D156 as a drying aid
5 - Buff using edgeless MF towel

The results were great.. clean and shiny

PW is used when prepping a car for polishing. Just regular hose for normal maintenance wash routine.
