Today was going thru my stuff that I've order in the last month from Autogeek, getting ready to do some work this weekend and I noticed the Ultima trim & tire guard I got has about 1/4 " of white stuff on the bottom of the bottle. I shook it up for a couple of mins hoping it would go away, but it doesn't. Has this stuff gone bad already or is this standard to have this stuff floating around in it ? It's been stored in house since it arrived .I bought it Feb. 10th 2011 from AG and haven't opened or used it as I'm in Canada. The MFG date is 10-01-10. I've attached some shots.

No. Call customer service and they should take care of it for you!

I can't imagine it's normal, but I'm sure they will fix it for you. I was thinking maybe it was older stock, but obviously by the sticker on the bottom that isn't the case.

Either way I'm sure they will get it resolved for you.

I'm wondering if it froze along the way, none of which you're responsible for. Give the folks in Florida a call and I'm certain they take care of it..

I believe that this is normal for UTTG. Mine has done the same thing but I do not see any loss in effectiveness of the product.

Thanks for the help guys. I was just puzzled when I seen it and after shaking the bottle for few times and it would not go away. It would puzzle me that this would be normal, but if it is ok. I've been told to contact Dwayne tomorrow. Thanks again for all the help.

Same thing happened to mine. Don't see any loss in effectiveness though. A great product!

I beleive the warmer it is the better that white stuff will mix up and disappear . Mine does this too but will disappear after shaking in Ca weather , Try running the bottle under hot water.

I must be the only one not impressed with this product though .

As others have said, my UTTG had this happen to the bottom as well. Did not affect the effectiveness whatsoever :)

Same here, I have bigger chucks in mine though. I shook it for a good 2 minuets thinking it would help, it didn't.

I talked to Dwayne about it and he called Premium finish care to find out whats going on. Apparently the polymers are bonding/congealed together. He said it wont effect the performance of the product at all.

Also my MFG date is the same as yours, so it must be this batch of product.

I got an email back from the co-owner of Premium car care
, I want to thank you for purchasing our Ultima Tire and Trim Guard Plus. Also, I wish to apologize for the settlement in your bottle. I have been aware of this issue. The formula has such a high Polycharger polymer content that a small percent will settle and in some cases all will not remix when shaken. We of course need to keep our formulas VOC compliant so the carrier we use is not strong enough to keep all of the Polycharger suspended. I have been working to reformulate by testing another carrier and reducing Polycharger to remedy this problem without reducing the quality of performance. I have been working to solve this issue for some time now and believe I am getting close to a fix.
Also Premium mentioned
However, if shaken, majority of the settled Polycharger polymer will remix and work properly on the surface applied
While others on here have said it's not good and others have said not to worry, both Premium car care and Autogeek (Dwayne) have been very, very helpful about this and I'm being looked after. Thanks for all of those with there help. I'm glad to have a place like this to come to when something like this comes up. :dblthumb2:

Put a light bulb under it - maybe it's a lava lamp!

Yup, it's normal. I got two bottles of it, and they both have that at the bottom. Although, I noticed that if you shake the crap out of it...it seems to break up. It does say to shake well on the cap...maybe that's why?

I got the same date code a few months ago, it didn't have any chunks in it then, but when I used it yesterday I saw little chunks. Does anyone know what the best remedy is for removing uttg from glass?

Just went and looked at mine......same date code, same floaters in mine after i shook the hell out of it!

I have been using mine right along and have seen great results with this product,so IMHO I would say this is normal.

I talked to the Ultima folks about this issue at DF. They assured me that it was nothing to worry about. They said to just give the bottle a good shake.

It looks very cool. If you could come up with a sea-saw type mount, it would look awesome on a desk
