Ive had my truck for about a year now (11500) miles. I originally used the klasse products and lots of wax to get me through a tough new england winter. After washing the other day I noticed specs of tar/asphalt that remained on the paint (especially the hood). It seemed to come off with klasse AIO but it required more effort and a scrubbing type maneuver with the microfiber applicator pad. This worried me due to the fact that the hardened tar/asphalt material could potentially become lodged within the applicator pad causing scratches on the clear coat. So I held off.
Anyways, Ive never clayed before so I am just wondering if its time for a proper clay? Ive heard from some people that you dont want to clay too early in the vehicles life and others have said its fine.
Thanks
